The fact that, unlike Tai Lung's daddy issues with Shifu and Lord Shen's ParentalAbandonment backstory and PetTheDog moments towards the Soothsayer, Kai is simply a power-hungry devil whose ''only'' redeemable quality, his friendship with Oogway, he himself abandoned. Heck, just Oogway for first time in entire trilogy gasping, "[[BigNo No!]]" in horror is enough.

Heck, just Oogway the fact that Oogway- for first ''the only time in entire trilogy gasping, the trilogy''- [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness lets out a horrified]] "[[BigNo No!]]" in horror upon realizing Kai's plan is enough.enough to sell how monstrous this guy is.
