* Oreg's flashback to a brutal flogging he endured during his slavery. Oreg is a powerful mage, so his magic makes the events real all over again, beginning with bloody gashes slowly appearing in his clothes and skin as he continues speaking calmly to Ward. One splits his cheek doown o the ''bone''. Then Ward has to look away, but he still hears the sounds of the whip and Oreg sobbing in agony. Eventually Oreg goes completely silent, but the whip ''keeps going''.
