* Thomas White: The idea that he can steal anyone's power and if he keeps hold of you for a minute, a task only made easier with every power he absorbs, he ''kills'' you! And he's such a good actor, no one sees him coming. (When he first entered the forum, it was a scary moment.)
* The MindRape the Redeemer inflicts on Herbert, which involves visions of a dystopian future, warped versions of his parents, Olympus rotting away, Olem killing Chris and finally, the Redeemer aging Herbert to such a degree that he can't walk. The Redeemer mocks him for failing to save everyone and letting him win, as he crouches over him. Amazingly, Herbert just about refuses to break. The Redeemer is not pleased.
