And there's also a case of diamonds needed to bribe the border partol guards. However, both actions amount to suicide missions: the explosives can only be set off manually by a car battery from close proximity, and whoever delivers the case of diamonds must put a bullet in their head after doing so. The first option guarantees that the PlayerCharacter ''will not'' come out alive, while the second one doesn't imply so directly.

Due to it's DarkerAndEdgier nature, Far Cry 2 manages to capture some very disturbing moments throughout the entire game.

Ever since the day you landed in Africa, you've proven yourself to be an unstoppable killing machine, rampaging across the UAC under the orders of whoever pays the highest. You become recognized as ''The Devil himself'' and one of the rumors spread about you is that you ''eat your victims for fun''.
