Then the tent starts slowly unzipping. And then the Unknown leaps inside. It's desperately tense in ways the other trailers never are...

* The Chapter 34 killer has been confirmed, finally, ''finally'' giving us a long-requested vampire killer in the form of '''''Dracula.''''' But not just ''any'' Dracula-- it's the Dracula from ''Franchise/{{Castlevania}}.'' In the official reveal, there's a shot of that all-too-familiar castle [[BadMoonRising backlit by a blood red moon]], and the silhouette of the Count himself approaching the viewer. Then he spreads his cape open as his eyes glow red and turns into a swarm of bats [[TheFourthWallWillNotProtectYou that rush right at you]]. Where's a Belmont when we need one?

** So...good news and bad news. The good news is, this is ''not'' the [[Series/StrangerThings psychic master of puppets from the Upside-Down]]. The bad news is, this is actually ''[[TabletopGame/DungeonsAndDragons the god-like Arch-Lich from]] TabletopGame/{{Greyhawk}} [[TabletopGame/DungeonsAndDragons said psychic was named after]]'', which is arguably worse for those poor, poor Level 1 Survivors.
** The story of how he ended up here paints an even scarier picture: most Killers were whisked away to the Entity's realm. Some accepted an invitation ''from'' the Entity. Vecna essentially ''broke into the Entity's realm'' for the sake of learning all of its secrets and magics, Survivors in the trial with him essentially being casualties in the crossfire.
** It's Mori is something. First, the victim is lifted up by Venca's spectral skeletons. Then the victims is brought to Venca's eye level, as he tells them ''Join me in death.'' After that, he crushes his hand, and the poor survivor's flesh ''disintegrates until they are nothing more than a blood-soaked skeleton''.

At least with some inhuman Killers like the Dredge or Singularity there's some explanation, but there is ''nothing'' regarding the Unknown. Lots of theories try to explain what it is - including a government experiment that went wrong, an extraterrestrial being or some kind of supernatural monster sunmoned by a cult - but it all is rendered moot.
