* ''VideoGame/BaldursGateIII''':
** For some reason, your companions' facial expressions change in conversations they are not actively a part of. This can result in some dramatic or sad scenes being made unintentionally hilarious because [[FunnyBackgroundEvent yourother companions are making silly faces]] watching everything going on.
** The romance arc(s) are considered to be one of the games' highlights, but it's also somewhat divisive. One of the reasons is the fact that just about ''everyone'' will flat out ''throw themselves'' at the PlayerCharacter despite barely interacting with them... when they have a parasite growing within them that will ''literally kill them'' and turn them into a mindflayer. This makes it seem as if they have SkewedPriorities.
** Related to the above, Astarion has had some people saying [[MemeticMutation "Not Now, Astarion"]] due to him bringing it up at rather inappropriate locations - such as when the group is CoveredInGrunge or had just finished fighting off enemies.

* ''VideoGame/StardewValley'':
** The Flower Dance can be this, due to some dodgy animations.
** Entering Marnie's house can sometimes give her a scripted line saying she isn't in the store, even though she ''is'' in the kitchen next door staring at the microwave. It makes her come across as having SkewedPriorities.
** Giving Alex some of his liked gifts (including food items) implies that he intends to eat the item right there... including [[RawEggsMakeYouStronger raw eggs]]. Where does he intend to put the shells once he's done?

** The entire story of ''Angel of Darkness'' becomes very funny when you think that, distilled down, it's all about how Lara is framed for a murder and [[NotHelpingYourCase consequently tries to clear her name by rampaging around and murdering people including cops, museum security guards and homeless people]].

** The Arceus event in ''[=HeartGold=] and [=SoulSilver=]'' lets you bring Arceus to a hidden location and receive [[spoiler:any of the Sinnoh Legendary Trio]] at Level 1, but before that happens there's a sequence of Arceus "recreating reality" to give you the Egg that's basically just [[GISSyndrome a slideshow of random real-life images of the world]] that just looks ridiculously trippy even with context.
** Reshiram's sprite. It looks weirded out while waving its giant arms. And it sounds like a warped out bell.
*** To say nothing of the unfortunately placed tuft of feathers on its belly...

* The scene following [[spoiler:Junpei's death and subsequent revival at the cost of Chidori's life]] in ''VideoGame/{{Persona 3}}'' was meant to be moving, to be sure, but was so over-the-top and full of awkward romantic dialogue, a character that keeps her poor speaking skills throughout the event, the stiff falling over sequence and an inconsistency of the gameplay prevent anything but laughter. Not that that particular relationship was developed realistically to begin with...

* Check out the {{Macekre}}d dialogue in VideoGame/Persona1. Basically every scene, besides Nate/Nanjo's SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome, that was meant to be dramatic, tense or tear-jerking was ruined by some [[BlindIdiotTranslation very poor translation]] that made everyone sound like 8-year-olds ("No your stupid ''(sic)''", "I'll kill you slow!", and "Now I'm Super Guido!", to name a few).

** You think ''VideoGame/Persona3'' had Narm? Check out the {{Macekre}}d dialogue in [[VideoGame/Persona1 the first game]].

*** The scene where Tatusya says "But...it's NOT too LATE!" (emphasis his) after [[spoiler:he fails to prevent Sumaru from floating into the sky again]].
** ''VideoGame/Persona4'' is definitely no stranger to Narm. Specific examples include:
*** Chie's [[GoingThroughTheMotions "crying" gesture]] as seen after the Shadow Yukiko fight looks like an attempt to rub something off her face (It actually DOES get used for that at one point when she is attempting to get a bug off herself). Many of the bosses get silly as well; Shadow [[spoiler:Naoto]] has a mechanical left body, [[WesternAnimation/BuzzLightyearOfStarCommand wings that look oddly familiar]] and [[DualWielding two]] [[{{BFG}} oversized]] DeathRay blasters, and the result is about as scary as the mental image. Shadow [[spoiler:Kanji]] is a TwoFaced giant DualWielding ♂. In story these make sense given the nature of the shadows (representing [[spoiler:her feelings at being treated like a child]] and [[spoiler:confusion over sexual identity]] respectively), but they are STILL funny as hell.
*** Another in [[VideoGame/Persona4 P4]] was Kanji punching the wall and "roaring" [[spoiler: in the hospital after hearing of Nanako's death]] ruins the poignant scene on account of sounding like a bad imitator of Tarzan who's been inhaling helium.
*** Sometimes when Teddie summons his Persona he says "Bearsona." However due to a sound effect after that it sounds like he says "Bearsona! [[ThisIsForEmphasisBitch Bitch!]]"
** The Shadow Selves in ''VideoGame/Persona5'' are ''definitely'' not immune to this. Not only are most of the major antagonists [[ObviouslyEvil far more evil in temperament and morality]] compared to most of the previous games, but they have [[FashionVictimVillain over-the-top appearances]] to match.
*** Shadow Kamoshida sports a fur-lined cape, a crown, a hot-pink speedo, and ''nothing else''.
*** Shadow Kaneshiro morphs into a mustachioed, purple-skinned, human-housefly hybrid - with his Kansai swagger [[AccentAdaptation adapted]] into a bizarre New York gangster.
*** Shadow Okumura's look is a RaygunGothic knockoff of [[Franchise/StarWars Darth Vader's suit]]; made ludicrous by his blue skin, fishbowl helmet, and a tinny [[RadioVoice muffled voice]].
*** ''Royal'' addition: [[spoiler:Maruki's white-suited Palace attire is fashionable, but his BossBattle getup is [[https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/megamitensei/images/5/5b/Maruki_Concept_Art_%28Azathoth%29.png/revision/latest?cb=20200527172354 decidedly not]]. ** And don't forget the otherwise stylish victory animation at the end of a normal fight, where Joker gestures as if to say "Alright, let's go!" before taking off running. Unfortunately though, sometimes it takes too long enough for you to realize he's just casually running ''in circles'' on the battlefield, and it's the same with the variation featuring Morgana in van form. Kind of hard not to play ''Running in the 90s'' in your head in the case of the latter..

** [[SNKBoss The Reaper]] is SuddenlySpeaking in this game, if you manage to catch it in a Hold Up. Thing is, it talks like the Beast Race Shadows/Demons (Orthrus, Chimera, ect.), who are only slightly above HulkSpeak. As a result, its only line of dialogue makes it less intimidating than it actually is.

* More of a player-induced one really but can be accidentally done nonetheless if you've forgotten what stickers you've used. In ''VideoGame/KirbyPlanetRobobot'', when Kirby's Invader Armour scans [[spoiler: the Halberd before the fight against Star Dream]], you will get a close-up and see in large what stickers you currently have on before flying off. It turns a serious moment into a laugh-out loud one if you have the character doodle stickers on, especially if it's King Dedede.
* The ''Franchise/{{Kirby}}'' series is known for having effectly creepy final bosses that clash well with the SugarBowl settings. While the final boss of ''VideoGame/Kirby64TheCrystalShards'' follows this, the fact that he has a comically oversized band-aid on his head takes away some of the impact.
