So Far, So Good... So What! is the third album by ThrashMetal band Music/Megadeth, released on January 19, 1988, by Creator/CapitolRecords. It was their only album with drummer Chuck Behler and guitarist Jeff Young, who were both fired in 1989. "In My Darkest Hour" was written after frontman Dave Mustaine was informed that Music/Metallica bassist Cliff Burton died.

# "In My Darkest Hour" (6:16)
# "Liar" (3:20)
# "Hook in Mouth" (4:40)

* Jeff Young – Guitar
* Chuck Behler – Drums

* Steve Jones - Second guitar solo on "Anarchy in the U.K."
!! I don't want to set the tropes on fire:
* BreakupSong: Despite being inspired by the death of Cliff Burton, "In My Darkest Hour" is actually about an ex.
* ContentWarnings: The original US vinyl version of the album has a sticker reading "Lyrics may be considered offensive by some audiences".
* CoverVersion: "Anarchy in the U.K." was originally by the Music/SexPistols.
* TheDissTrack: "Liar" has some pretty harsh words for former Megadeth guitarist Chris Poland, who was fired for allegedly stealing guitars to sell them for drug money.
* DrivingSong: "502"
--> "Driving fast makes me feel good\\
The speed of light trapped under my hood"
* TheEndOfTheWorldAsWeKnowIt: "Set the World Afire" describes a nuclear war that ends all life on Earth and leaves behind no evidence that humans ever existed.
* EpicInstrumentalOpener: It takes over five minutes for Mustaine's first vocals to appear, following the instrumental opening track "Into the Lungs of Hell" and, aside from a brief sample, "Set the World Afire" having a lengthy instrumental intro.
* EpicRocking: "In My Darkest Hour" (6:16)
* MoralGuardians: "Hook in Mouth" blasts censorship and the Parents' Music Resource center.
* Sampling: "Set the World Afire" starts with a brief sample of the 1941 song "I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire" by The Ink Spots.
