Actually, crocodiles are native to the US... but only in South Florida.

The album was first teased on February 11, 2024 during [[Recap/SuperBowlLIToLXXV Super Bowl LVIII]] with her "Can't B Broken" commercial created in partnership with Verizon. That same night, the lead singles "TEXAS HOLD 'EM" and "16 CARRIAGES" were released. The singles were a noticeable departure from much of the singer's past work, seeing Beyoncé embrace Main/CountryMusic for the first time since "Daddy Lessons" from 2016's ''{{Music/Lemonade|2016}}''.

* [[CrocodileTears ALLIIGATOR TEARS]]: Lampshaded. Beyoncé explains to her lover that he doesn't have to resort to using his tears to move her because she'll always do whatever's necessary to please him. The song's title uses "alligator" instead of "crocodile" because the latter isn't native to the U.S. but the former is.
