* TheMoralSubstitute: Since shredding the gross-out humour out of his system, he turned his attention towards preaching the Gospel using the genre he knows best, citing Music/{{Eminem}} as an influence.[[note]]Which is ironic considering Em's usual output.[[/note]]

Communion, real name Álvaro Vega, is a Latino Christian rapper and former seminarian. He first gained viral notoriety in the mid-to-late 2000s under the stage name "The Cacaman", where he made parodies of rap and R&B music with a rather irreverent and scatological slant, though one of his songs, "Ain't Got Much of a Smile", was a more serious glimpse on his troubled background and depression.

His stint as a parodist was short-lived, however: in a Website/MySpace post he [[http://web.archive.org/web/20080922204755/http://www.myspace.com/cacamanmusic confessed]] that he had a revelation after a bad hangover, having stumbled upon a copy of the 15th-century devotional book ''[[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Imitation_of_Christ The Imitation of Christ]]''; through this he realised how shameful his former career was, lambasting his former idols like Music/TheNotoriousBig as "besides glorifying sin, he actually raps verses that are satanic." !!Communion (and his earlier career as The Cacaman) gives examples of:
* AsTheGoodBookSays: Vega's songs now lean more towards this, starting from his conversion to Catholicism in 2008.[[note]]He was raised Catholic, but never paid much attention to his religion prior to devoting his life even more towards his faith.[[/note]]
* GodIsGood: The reworked version of "Ain't Got Much of a Smile", extolling the joys of being saved by Jesus.
* GospelMusic: As Communion.
* GenreShift: Following his confession on [=MySpace=], he took down all of his back catalogue under The Cacaman moniker and reinvented himself as a Catholic rapper.
* GrossoutShow: The video for [[https://archive.org/details/The_Cacaman_NastyCrap_Official_Video [=NastyCrap=]]] where he is shown reeking in fecal matter as he tries to unclog a toilet.
* HeelFaithTurn: Starting from his confession on [=MySpace=] about his former musical career.
* TheMoralSubstitute: Since shredding the gross-out humour out of his system, he turned his attention towards preaching the Gospel using the genre he knows best, citing Music/{{Eminem}} as an influence.[[note]]Which is ironic considering Em's usual output.[[/note]]
* SongsOfSolace: "Ain't Got Much of a Smile", though this was eventually averted when he reworked the song as simply [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1KRGWmjWUdY "Smile"]] to reflect his newfound faith.
* SongParody: As The Cacaman, albeit mostly leaning more on scatological topics such as diarrhea and indigestion. He did however make quite a few non-scat parodies such as [[https://soundcloud.com/issue313/i-shop-at-walmart-by-cacaman "I Shop At Walmart"]].
