Bush is an AlternativeRock band from London, England. The band formed in 1992 after lead singer Gavin Rossdale met guitarist Nigel Pulsford and recruited bass player Dave Parsons. Drummer Robin Goodridge joined the following year. In 1994, the band released their debut album ''Sixteen Stone''. Two years later, the video for one of the songs from the album, "Glycerine", won the Viewer's Choice award at the MTV Video Music Awards.

The band released three more albums over the next eight years. Shortly after the release of their fourth, ''Golden State'', Nigel Pulsford announced he was retiring from music to spend more time with his family. He was replaced by Music/{{Helmet}} guitarist Chris Traynor, but this lineup was short-lived as the band broke up later in 2002. In 2010, Rossdale, Traynor, and Goodridge reunited Bush with Corey Britz replacing Dave Parsons. (Parsons turned down the offer to rejoin the band.) The following year, the band released their first new album in almost a decade, ''The Sea of Memories''.
