If you don't consider this Bias's Moral Event Horizon, then there's his motive for everything in the series: He recruited four students from Earth- one of them had already made a Heel-Face Turn by Episode 22- so he can raise their "scores" to 1000 so he could extract their brains and extend his immortality. After all the care he seemed to show to his students before this was revealed, this is shocking.]]

When Suzunari Bouma stops using the arte, Jarmin kills the rest of Suzunari Bouma's tribesmen, then whips Suzunari Bouma to death.
