* Averted by Pino in ''Manga/GunslingerGirl''. ** Nearly everything that [[MadScientist Orochimaru]] does, but the kidnapping and experimenting on multiple people, callously discarding them when they became unnessary and taking over their bodies, takes the cake.

** [[spoiler: [[FallenHero Obito Uchiha]]]] crossed this line when he broke Kushina's seal and released Kurama the Nine-Tailed Fox onto Konohagakure. Watching with sick amusement behind his mask while Ninja and innocent civilians alike were being slaughtered by the dozens. Somehow outdoing his earlier crossing of threatening a newborn Naruto's life just to separate both of his parents.

** Gendo Ikari, leader of NERV and Shinji's JerkAss father. Many of the things he's done through the series were questionable, but he would cross the line when, following Shinji's refusal to destroy an Angel-possessed Evangelion Unit-03, he activates the dummy-plug system to carry out its destruction, nearly killing its pilot [[spoiler:Toji Suzuhara, Shinji's classmate and friend]] in the process. In the manga the pilot actually dies, and becomes all the worse still in ''Evangelion 2.0'', [[spoiler:where Shinji's hands are practically bolted to the controls while the dummy-plug destroys Unit-03 and almost kills its new pilot, Asuka]].
** To some, [[MadScientist Ritsuko Akagi]] crosses it when [[spoiler:she destroys the clones of Rei simply out of insanity and jealousy. She's deeply aware of how low she's fallen and begs Misato to kill her when she's done]].
** Keel Lorenz crosses it in ''End of Evangelion'' when, after being [[DragonWithAnAgenda backstabbed by Gendo Ikari]], he decides to cut his losses and simply have the entire staff of NERV terminated. He succeeds in killing a great many of them, too, including [[spoiler:Misato]]. Him and SEELE had pretty much already crossed it years ago, when they through their machinations deliberately caused Second Impact, which resulted in a death-toll in the ballpack of ''3 billion people''.

Not only does he take delight in torturing Renji and Uryu slowly and painfully, but when Mayuri and his lieutenant/daughter Nemu arrive to face him, just as he's about to defeat him he [[spoiler: grabs a captured Nemu, ''rapes'' her with tentacles to forcibly impregnate her and seemingly kills the poor girl (one of the biggest [[TheWoobie Woobies]] on the whole Manga/{{Bleach}}, natch) after emerging from her body, leaving an empty husk.]] This is so {{squick}}y and cruel that a good part of the fandom saw [[spoiler: the FateWorseThanDeath that Mayuri dealt to him, as he'd planned for exactly that eventuality and pumped Nemu full of a time perception-altering drug thaf utterly fucked Szayel up]] ''[[KickTheSonOfABitch as something to cheer for]]''. [[spoiler:Fortunately, Nemu has an immensely powerful HealingFactor due to her being an [[ArtificialHuman Artificial Shinigami]] and survived.]]

** General Muoro and his lackeys showed their complete willingness to torture Sheeta to squeeze the secrets out of her and also tried to kill Pazu. Which also makes Muska's [[spoiler: massacre of them a case of KickTheSonOfABitch]].

* [[spoiler: Grace O'Connor]] in ''Anime/MacrossFrontier'' has a number of candidates, with conducting painful, potentially instantly fatal, and certainly eventually fatal experiments [[spoiler: on a seven year old girl]] probably close to the top of the list. Made worse when they call the [[spoiler: little girl]] Subject [[spoiler: Fairy-Nine]] and FridgeLogic sets in with "Wait, what happened to [[spoiler: Fairies One through Eight?"]] ''Even then'' one of the drama UsefulNotes/{{CD}}s suggests an opening for redemption with [[spoiler: Grace when she realizes that in the ten years she spent practically raising that girl (whose name is Sheryl Nome) she's developed strong feelings for her, no longer just "Fairy-Nine" but "her little fairy." She decides that the feelings will get in the way of their plan, so she deletes them with cybernetics]] in one of the most subtle crossings of the MoralEventHorizon ever.
