** In an inverse situation to Xiangling's MemeticPsychopath portrayal, [[https://hawberries.tumblr.com/post/739859737151209472 the same copypasta]] has been applied to Baizhu, but instead exaggerating his kind nature in healing everyone, [[TheFourthWallWillNotProtectYou including the player,]] without needing any particular investment in him.

** Eula, despite, or perhaps because of, her disgust with her family's practices, including owning slaves, is depicted, especially by r/okbuddygenshin, as being violently racist, usually towards Eremites (or Er*mites as r/okbuddygenshin calls them).

* MemeticBadass:
** Klee. Being rumored in-universe to be as powerful as Jean or Diluc despite being just a child has caused the fanbase to turn her into an unstoppable force of destruction that strikes fear into everyone around her.
** Bennett. Despite being a 4-star character, he's considered to be one of the best characters in the game who even outclasses a lot of 5-star characters. Because of this, fans joke that he's either a 6-star character or the real Pyro Archon.
** Madame Ping. After it's revealed that she's an Adeptus, who also gives you a powerful buff [[spoiler:in the battle against Osial]], the fandom views her as a powerful granny. Some even joked about her being PromotedToPlayable (even moreso when it's implied [[spoiler:and later confirmed]] that she was the blue-haired spear-wielding Adeptus seen in flashback cutscenes), to the point where there are memes of her being added to the gacha, or being imagined as the first playable 6★ character.
** Timmie. Venti's Story Quest reveals that his {{imaginary friend}} is a Ruin Guard, of all things. The fanbase has since compared it to a [[Manga/JojosBizarreAdventure Stand]], and joked about Timmie fighting you with his Ruin Guard friend if you mess with his pigeons.
** Oz. Fischl is considered a GameBreaker mostly because of her bird Oz being the source of her many powers (Both her elemental skill and burst summon him, he lingers in the field even if she's swapped out with the other party members, and her Constellation upgrades mostly revolve around him). There are jokes in the fandom mentioning how Oz is stronger than his master, or players calling themselves "Oz Mains" when they build Fischl as a support.
** In addition to being a MemeticTroll, Qiqi also picked up a reputation as this during the first anniversary celebration, since the official Discord Server was almost completely locked down by people sending a picture of her lying on her back ''en masse'' in retaliation to how [=Mihoyo=] treats its fanbase. Her MemeticBadass status ended up increasing after the "Endless Suffering" trailer showcased that [[StrongerThanTheyLook she has enough strength to carry Xiao on her back]]; leading to jokes and memes of Qiqi being a gigachad.
** Ever since the Moonchase festival, Guoba has gained this reputation, being seen as the best part of the event and taking the spotlight with his adorable antics [[FunnyBackgroundEvent in the background]]. [[spoiler:TheReveal that he's the depowered Stove God also helps.]]
** In a bit of a joking ironic corollary to her MemeticLoser status, alongside a bunch of details that act as EpilepticTrees fuel, some fans have hyped up Paimon as secretly being some ridiculously powerful god, based on having an ''Ars Goetia'' name like several other gods, who's only pretending to be a weak and helpless fairy for everybody to mess with while she bides her time, potentially even being the GreaterScopeVillain leading the player to achieve her goals.
** Rana is considered a bonafide badass because she's the first [=NPC=] to fight back against enemies in the Aranyaka quest. [[spoiler:Her getting a Dendro Vision at the end of the quest has only further increased her badass credentials]].
** Il Capitano, despite only having appeared in a single trailer and been mentioned in a single letter from a limited event, has already amassed a fanbase thanks to his extraordinary described prowess in battle, his strong build, his apparent BenevolentBoss and NobleDemon qualities and the mask that conceals his face, adding to the air of mystery surrounding him. This has even led to serious speculation that he'll try to get the Pyro Archon (Teyvat's WarGod)'s Gnosis by ''challenging her to a battle'', which would be suicidal for any other mortal.
* MemeticMolester:
** Due to the large number of attractive females in the game's cast, large enough for the game to be called "[[FanNickname Breath of the Waifu]]", it's common for fans to depict the Traveler as a CovertPervert with ''varying'' degrees of subtlety. Lumine, in particular, has drawn comparisons to [[WebComic/LearningWithMangaFGO Gudako]].
** People commonly take Ayaka's lonely personality and strong ShipTease with the Traveler in the game and exaggerate it to insane levels, with Ayaka being portrayed as extremely lustful or even {{Yandere}} for the Traveler in memes and fan content. The 2.7 version delay outright caused people to believe that Ayaka pulled a [[VisualNovel/DokiDokiLiteratureClub Monika]] and [[InterfaceScrew tampered with the Wish system]] so that the Traveler will only roll for her alone. Her return in 4.3 only adds more fuel to the fire, as she's headlining the Version Event as a lead actress for ''Fontaine's'' film festival, making it all too easy to see it as her chasing the Traveler halfway across Teyvat.
* MemeticPsychopath:
** Klee exclusively uses [[MadBomber bombs]] to create fiery explosions in-game, yet there's a part of the fandom that loves to depict her wielding military firearms, handguns, rifles or [=RPGs=]. It's a common thing to call her as a "[[FanNickname Terrorist Loli]]", and some fans even [[GameMod modded]] her into shooter games (like ''VideoGame/GrandTheftAutoV'') to demonstrate this trope.
** Some fans portray the [[RidiculouslyHumanRobots Raiden Shogun]] as a [[BloodKnight bloodthirsty]] KillerRobot due to immediately trying to off the Traveler the moment they meet, then attempts to do so ''again'' after [[spoiler: disintegrating La Signora when she's defeated by the Traveler.]] [[spoiler:Ei]] outright says that had ''she'' been in charge of the duel for the new head of the Tenryou Commission, she would have outright executed the loser instead of "just" throwing down a CurbStompBattle on them. She's also the first character seen killing someone in the story.
** In a similar boat to her Memetic Molester entry, Ayaka is additionally portrayed by fan-made media as a crazed, psychotic and possessive girlfriend that would react violently to any interactions the Traveler had with other women in the story no matter how little ShipTease is present. This particularly surged when it was announced that Version 2.7 would be delayed for an undetermined amount of time, and the listed remaining time on Ayaka's banner (the only one active at the time) was extended to '''240 days''', leading to jokes that Ayaka was no longer allowing you to summon for other limited units.
** Thanks to a certain infamous NSFW comic, fans dread or react with disgust whenever Tartaglia/Childe is mentioned around Ganyu, especially whenever horns happen to be the main topic, due to him being portrayed as a sadistic horn-breaker over there.
** The signature shot of Furina burning what appears to be a blank photo in the "Overture: The Final Feast" trailer has caused many fan artists to flanderize her portrayal as some unhinged photo-burning arsonist who sets countless photos ablaze in court trials for the sake of it, much to the detriment of [[OnlySaneMan Neuvillette]]. This despite the fact that Furina is the Hydro Archon, therefore lacking Pyro powers.
** Kaveh, as a result of a GameBreakingBug that could allow players to use Kaveh to permanently delete important objects in co-op mode, leading to portrayals that depict him destroying all of Teyvat.
** Xiangling as a result of her GameBreaker status, some lines about her dinner attacking her[[note]]that trigger even if you're attacking human-type enemies[[/note]] and [[https://www.reddit.com/user/Doggo_wit_a_P90/comments/107sz2p/random_copy_pastas/ a popular copypasta]] has been memed as a psychopath [[TheFourthWallWillNotProtectYou who will harm the player]] if they don't invest all their resin and primogems into her.
** Sigewinne has gotten this treatment after Chapter IV Act IV showcases [[spoiler:her ObfuscatingStupidity where she admits that she likes to play dumb so she would be trusted by the people in the fortress, as well as the fact that she manages to tranquilize both Lyney and Lynette (with the former's tranquilization being shown on-screen)]]. The fact that [[Creator/SarahAnneWilliams her English voice actress]] is [[{{Typecasting}} known to play]] CuteAndPsycho characters causes Sigewinne to be this even more so.
* MemeticTroll:
** Kaeya is mostly portrayed as a [[TheGadfly gadfly]] who would annoy or troll Diluc whenever they meet.
** Thunderstorms can happen in the open world, and there's even an achievement for being struck by lightning. Players joked that lightning strikes occur because the Raiden Shogun is either pissed off or just toying with you.
** [[LowTierLetdown Qiqi]] has a reputation of only showing up to ruin your 50/50 guaranteed pull (so, [[MemeticMutation "getting Qiqi'd"]]) on an event banner (otherwise dubbed "Cursed with Qiqi-s") while being almost non-existent everywhere else.
** Dori is often interpreted by the fandom to be a SnakeOilSalesman out to scam everyone she comes across, especially the more MoneyDumb characters like Mona or Zhongli. This stands in contrast to her actual character, who is indeed shady, but whose goods are of legitimately high-quality.
* Other Memetic Personality Changes:
** Thanks to a, likely not meant to be taken seriously, theory posted on r/okbuddygenshin, Kaeya is often depicted in memes as Muslim by the sub and referred to as Kaeya bin Al-Baarik. This is in spite of the fact he is a heavy drinker of alcohol and originates from Khaenri'ah, a region with no gods.
** Eula, despite, or perhaps because of, her disgust with her family's practices, including owning slaves, is depicted, especially by r/okbuddygenshin, as being violently racist.
