** INDEED!The same interview with Takahashi also confirms that N's Sword of the End was form taken in Aionios by Logos -- and specifically Malos himself, rather than a different incarnation entirely. This spawned memes about Malos being present in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, often by joking that one could hear him faintly shouting "INDEED" from inside the sword.

* Lucky Seven. In an interview from the Aionios Moments artbook released in 2024, one of the things Takahashi confirmed was that the blade of Lucky Seven, Noah's sword, was in fact the form taken by Fiora in Aionios. Due to the sheer unexpectedness of this reveal, memes about Fiora being Noah's sword sprung up quickly, ranging from Shulk desperately trying to stop Noah from throwing Lucky Seven into the ocean at the end of 3, Riku BreakingTheFourthWall by using Fiora's FanNickname ("Seven") as the name for the sword, or Fiora becoming a sword to win Shulk's affection.

** Waifu blade.Building off of the above, the idea that Matthew's gauntlets - the form taken by Pyra/Mythra - were reforged into the sheathe of Lucky Seven more or less means that the Veiled Sword had three love interest characters from the prior two games all at once. Memes about this range from Rex similarly getting angry at Noah for throwing his wives into the sea, Noah stealing everyone's wives, or Fiora being...inside Pyra/Mythra due to Fiora being the blade and Pyra/Mythra being the sheathe.

* Lv. 99 Mio Solo During Chapter 6 (technically Chapter 5 but 6 is when we learn of it), Mio is freed from her term limit, which means she's now the only party member to have a normal (if not unlimited) life span. As a result, some fans like to joke that if the player put off sidequesting and LevelGrinding until that point, then by the time they finished, the rest of the party (including Noah) would have died from reaching the end of their terms, leaving an overlevelled and highly motivated Mio to storm Origin and defeat Z all by herself.

* Looking cool, Taion!Upon reveal, a lot of people thought that Taion bore a resemblance to Joker from VideoGame/Persona5, with a fair amount of fanart featuring one of them in the other's shoes getting made. It doesn't hurt that Eunie's default outfit is close to Morgana's color scheme and she's also associated with busses like the latter (see her section above).

Recently saw discussion of the meme's role in the harassment/death threat wave against Skye Bennett (and to some extent people who were known to ship Pyra, Mythra, and Nia with characters other than Rex even peacefully), including from some well-known names in the community, and how fans of the OG meme apparently still haven't let go of their hatred for her over it even a year later.

* Gigachad A photo of the VideoGame/XenobladeChronicles2 cast in the ending shows that Rex eventually had children with Pyra, Mythra, and Nia. Even more surprising in hindsight is that all the babies in the image look to be the same age, meaning that Rex may have even taken all three girls at the same time. Add to it Rex's more Hunky appearance, and the comparisons were quick to follow. The photo of older Rex with his wives and children became a meme of itself before release due to the sheer shock value of Rex going through MarryThemAll with the image's notoriety drowning out other leaks. The meme only intensified once the Future Redeemed DLC teaser was shown, which confirmed that Rex was not only the mentor of Founder Cassini, but looked even manlier than before, now sporting a stubble and wielding both Aegis Swords. However, it and the following offshoots of the meme have become fairly divisive as time has gone on due to the BrokenBase surrounding the ending picture, as well as the popularity of the meme among people whose politics are considered controversial; as a result the meme has undergone a form of evolution in which others have attempted to rescue it by recontextualizing it as a reference to Rex's incredible caretaking skills and his open-minded support for LGBTQ people, or jokes about him being able to score with Shulk, rather than the aspects of it pertaining to Ecchi or traditionalist gender roles.

* "IT'S MOEBIN' TIME!"When it was found out that the enemy faction is called Moebius who can transform into the titular forms, many fans quickly appropriated the "IT'S MORBIN' TIME" meme. The fact that the "Morbin' Time" meme is itself a play on "It's Morphin' Time!" hasn't been lost on the fandom, either. With the fate of the world lying with six teenagers with the power to transform and ride HumongousMecha (in Xenoblade's case, transforming into mecha-equivalents), TheHero primarily wearing red and wielding a sword, Moebius following a VillainOfTheWeek format, and the BigBad's name being pronounced "Zedd," some fans have semi-jokingly called the game the best season of Power Rangers ever.

* The Protagonist PolyculeOn top of the in-game implication that Rex and the three heroines of 2 entered a polyamorous relationship together, Melia/Nia and Shulk/Rex also became popular ships in the fandom due to their Foil relationships having a lot of HoYay, leading to memes that peace was achieved through the previous games' casts marrying their way into one unified family. This meme became even stronger after Aionios Moments revealed that not only did the Pneuma core inside Matthew's gauntlet contain Pyra and Mythra's consciousnesses specifically, but that Lucky Seven was also the transformed soul of Fiora, who married Shulk between the first and third game. Between general jokes about the innuendo of Fiora being inside Pyra and Mythra for a thousand years and the in-game explanation that Lucky Seven is the product of Melia's heart, many memed that this information provided the final missing pieces of HoYay needed to complete the polycule.
