The photo of older Rex with his wives and children became a meme of itself before release due to the sheer shock value of Rex going through MarryThemAll with the image's notoriety drowning out other leaks. The meme only intensified once the ''Future Redeemed'' DLC teaser was shown, which confirmed that Rex was not only the mentor of Founder Cassini, but looked ''even manlier'' than before, now sporting a stubble and wielding both Aegis Swords.
