[[note]]In the "Becoming the Master" Voting Gauntlet, Gharnef managed to [[UnderdogsNeverLose somehow]] pull a victory out of his ass against Legendary Lilina and Summer Leonie, which quickly led to people quoting this line from the original ''Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light'' game. The meme died as quick as it was formed, as Gharnef was defeated by Halloween Rolf in the final round.[[/note]]

* Lachesis'd[[note]]A go-to word to describe a character that used to be a great unit in the original game, but [[AdaptationalWimp was severely nerfed or looked too different than in their original game, but bottom line, they're no longer the uber unit they were before.]] The term Lachesis was used because Lachesis was the first and most egregious example of this: She used to be a great example of MagikarpPower, starting with the all-rounder JackOfAllStats Princess class, and then promoting into the all powerful Master Knight class. And in ''Heroes'', she's a ''ground healer'', and not even a particularly noteworthy one in regards to her statline and skillset. [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking Some were also rather offput by how the artstyle used for her portraits made her look more like a little girl than a dignified, taciturn princess.]] One that comes very close to this would be Lucius, who was a light magic user in [[VideoGame\FireEmblemTheBlazingBlade his home game]], only to end up as yet another mediocre ground healer. An extension of this can be seen in the 'IS hates male wyvern riders' below, as a similar effect happened to many male wyvern riders.[[/note]]

** Laurent/Validar/Excellus? Who's that? [[labelnote:Explanation]] Similar to the above meme, the remaining members of ''Awakening's'' cast still not in ''Heroes'' have become straight up [[{{MemeticLoser}} Memetic Losers]], being the last characters yet to be added of the game most likely to finish its core cast off first, thus making them the bottom of the barrel in terms of ''Awakening's'' popularity, at least according to I.S. As such, memes making fun of these four for being forgotten are very common, though these memes were retired for Laurent and Validar when the Feh channel for the December 2023 New Heroes banner saw the release of Laurent as the four star focus and Validar as the Grand Hero.[[/labelnote]]

* Winter Bernadetta's attack animation has her conjure up a house to shut herself inside in, letting the raging blizzard deal with her enemy instead. Comparisons were instantly made to other media where houses were deadly or played a major role, such as [[VideoGame/FinalFantasyVII the Hell House]], or building in {{VideoGame/Minecraft}}.

* [[{{VideoGame/Overwatch}} "It's high Noontime..."]][[note]]Shigure shares his voice actor (Creator/MatthewMercer) with the character Cassidy from ''Overwatch''. In that game Cassidy's ultimate triggers the voiceline "It's high noon" to play, and Shigure's base kit comes with the special skill Noontime. Many fans saw it as a humorous coincidence and the meme stuck.[[/note]]

** Academy Cap [[note]]Female Byleth's Academy Cap looks like a police hat, so people put it to units and act like they're a police officer. In addition, it's drawn comparisons to the hat worn by [[Manga/JojosBizarreAdventure Jotaro]].[[/note]]
** Røkkr Remnant [[note]]These various multicolored accessories are obtained upon dealing 150,000 total damage to a Røkkr in a single battle. Since it covers up one of the eyes of the wearer, it has been compared to [[{{VideoGame/Undertale}} Sans]], especially the Lance Røkkr Remnant, which matches the color of Sans's eye.[[/note]]

* Paralogue 69[[note]]The 2022 Day of Devotion event based on the ''Awakening'' cast landed on Paralogue 69. Being a festival modeled after Valentines, the duo being [[HoYay Chrom and Male Robin]], and the [[LOL69 meme involving the number]], players went wild with this.[[/note]]

* "X banner is bait for X".[[note]]Anytime a summoning focus was dropped shortly before a highly anticipated one, such as a seasonal focus, players would frequently refer to such ones as "bait banners" that are only intended to get players to spend all their orbs and then have no choice but to buy more orbs for the new summoning focus.[[/note]]

* Due to its longevity, it has become quite common for people to joke about ''Fire Emblem Heroes'' outliving all other Nintendo Mobile Games that aren't ''Franchise/Pokemon'' because as of writing, it is the one of the few that still gets content at least once a month. The fact that it is Nintendo's most successful non-''Pokémon'' mobile game to date, despite slumping in popularity over the years, adds to this.

* Mirabilis the Undying [[note]]Mirabilis's debutting banner "Book IV Mid: Mirabilis and More" has lasted longer than any other banner with the rerun polls on Twitter. The way the Twitter poll goes is that the most-voted banner is rerun at a later date, the banner in last place is permanently off the list for reruns, and the 2nd and 3rd place banners are carried over to the next poll. Mirabilis's banner has survived long enough to the point where people started to vote for her banner on purpose to see how long it would last; the answer turned out to be ''a year and a half'', lasting through eight preceding polls before finally dropping out in the May '22 poll.[[/note]]

The fact that Anna has been there all along, and she's wielding axes, therefore a Green Unit, and she's kind of OutOfFocus and having her signature money fetish, fans speculate that she's going to be a twist villain that will betray the Order of Heroes when no one expects.[[/labelnote]]

* Male ''Heroes'' OC? Say goodbye.[[labelnote:Explanation (spoilers for all Books)]]A trend that has not escaped the fanbase's notice is how male original characters from ''Heroes'' tend to be treated in the story. They're either lacking in screentime (Hríd and Elm), dead (Surtr, Helbindi, Freyr, Fáfnir, Ótr, Bruno, and Njörðr), or both (Gustav and Askr). Alfonse and his alternate universe counterpart Líf are exceptions to this trend and have been noted to have PlotArmor, due to the former being the main protagonist and the latter being an AlternateSelf of the protagonist and being crucial to the plot.[[/labelnote]]
