He does all of this without any mind-control spells!

* [[BewareTheNiceOnes Adrien]] proves to have quite a knack for this in [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/24320923 Manipulation > Lies]]. He manages to use a few choice words to get evidence from the various celebrities [[ConsummateLiar Lila]] has claimed to know that they've never met her. And later manages to persuade Principal Damocles into calling her mother due to Lila being "bullied", and uses the opportunity to set things up so that Lila would be exposed in front of the class, the faculty, and her mother, effectively destroying her with nothing but a few words.
