Upon hearing that Shizuku doesn't plan on writing any more, she suggests that Shizuku write a love story with them, with them playing at being a relationship for the duration of the summer. Shizuku hesitantly accepts, not knowing that both she and Kaori will have to confront each other's darkest secrets.
