* CombatCommentator: {{Subverted|Trope}} humorously during the battle between GG and [[spoiler:a brainwashed Lightning Man]]. Slime Tanaka starts running a commentary about how the fight is going, claiming that he has SuperSenses which lets him view the two characters despite both having SuperSpeed that amakes them near invisible to the naked eye outside of their {{Kung Fu Sonic Boom}}s. But when near the end of the fight, it turns out he was just shouting incorrect nonsense since he has normal senses as well, to which Slime Tanaka admits that he just wanted to be involved somehow.

* ThousandYardStare: Played for laughs. Serious Glasses enters a state of tranquil horror after hearing about the PR nightmare that is [[spoiler: the evil plot of the Hero League Chairman and then the Villain League having successfully invaded the heroes' headquarters to stop him]]. Cut to him in a press interview later, still with the same stare.

** The Secretary breaks down after she realises [[spoiler: she attacked her own comrades while under hypnosis]].

** Later on, [[spoiler:Mother Justice's son Licht]] falls in love with RX's newest monster X-chan, a human plant tentacle girl. Ultimately it ends with him traumatized by her when she [[BlackComedyRape forcibly mates]] with him, but it's shown she likes him and wants to be with him. [[spoiler: His mother [[DatingWhatDaddyHates does]] ''[[DatingWhatDaddyHates not]]'' [[DatingWhatDaddyHates approve]].]]

* WomenAreWiser: The General and Scientist notwithstanding, the only two members of Team RX to have their heads remotely screwed on right are GG and Secretary. As demonstrated by the Christmas party episode where they're the only ones who brought actual food and drinks.

* YouWannaGetSued: Chapter 95 introduces a new villain with a penchant for using gas filled traps, wears a perpetual shit-eating grin, behaves like an utter {{Troll}}, and "looks an awful lot like a ''[[ComicBook/TheJoker playing card]]''". Him appearing in the same scene as Braveman, who's "silhouette looks like a ''[[Franchise/{{Batman}} certain other hero's]]''" makes the General nervous that the manga will catch the attention of ''[[Creator/DCComics their]]'' laywers. Him calling Braveman "Bats" in his response does not help. To top it off he reveals his alias is "Jester" when he leaves.

* CutLexLuthorACheck: The story as a whole fully averts this. The various villain organizations completely lack OffscreenVillainDarkMatter, so all of them have various non-criminal side-gigs they use to provide money for their causes utilizing their abilities and other skills, such as Monster Benefit Society taking up jobs as "fake" monsters during Halloween. RX takes this the furthest, as they're a borderline case of PerpetualPoverty, so everybody is constantly looking out for ways to maintain a consistent income and keep from going broke.

* ForTheEvulz: Chapter 87 reveals the existance of the "Organization", a group of indiviuals whose only motivation is to commit evil for evil's sake. Members include [[MadScientist The Ph.D.]], [[spoiler:the former Chairman of the Hero League, alias Mr. Brainwashing]], and [[MonsterClown Jester]].

* YouWannaGetSued: Chapter 95 introduces a new villain with a penchant for using gas filled traps, wears a perpetual shit-eating grin, behaves like an utter {{Troll}}, and "looks an awful lot like a '''[[ComicBook/TheJoker playing card]]'''". ** Rose Princess is a violently obsessed PsychoLesbian towards the Secretary, and she utterly despises the Boss due to how he has the Secretary's undivided attention, taking any chance she gets attempting to MurderTheHypotenuse before she gets stopped with an explosion from the Secretary herself.

*** Black Lion, a human-lion hybrid able to fight toe-to-toe with a superhero, but passes out if he spends too long in direct sunlight.

* MadScientist: The Scientist is responsible for creating various devices and monsters for helping RX to achieve world domination, even though sometimes her inventions are rather unsuccessful.

* BioAugmentation: The Scientist has a thing for this, particularly creating monsters by [[LegoGenetics taking a living being and adding elements from other creatures to it]], as with the ManEatingPlant (plant + animal), Mr X (cat + human), GG (human + cockroach), Black Lion (human + lion), and Miss Water-B (human + water bear).

** Water-B the water bear girl, who prefers sleeping above anything else.

* HalfHumanHybrid: GG, Black Lion and Miss Water-B are all bio-augmented humans with animal traits given to them by the Scientist. Mr X approaches the trope from the other way as a cat given human traits.

* HumanShield: Miss Water-B proves useful after all when she's used by the General as a shield against [[spoiler: the brainwashed Secretary]].

** The various other superheroes and supervillains, such as Braveman, Black Lion, GG, and Miss Water-B, are only referred to by their super-identities.

* NighInvulnerability: Miss Water-B has the same durability against temperature, pressure, and even radiation as a [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tardigrade water bear]]. Unfortunately, there are two drawbacks: first, it only works while she's asleep, and second, she has nothing else that would make her a threat. [[spoiler:Using her as a HumanShield, however, works perfectly.]]

* OddlySmallOrganization: In contrast to the Hero League, who are a ([[WeAreStrugglingTogether mostly]]) unified HeroesRUs group comprising hundreds of members, and other villain groups, each of which have a large assortment of {{mook}}s alongside the bosses and lieutenants, RX is utterly tiny in terms of membership. When the story started there were only six members, the Boss, Secretary, General, and three Minions, and even over time they only add a small assortment of other characters, with their current lineup only being 12 members strong (adding the Scientist, Mr X, GG, Black Lion, Miss Water-B, and X-chan). Despite this small membership count, they still make efforts to TakeOverTheWorld.

* OlderThanTheyLook: Miss Water-B apparently shrunk a lot in receiving the traits of such a small animal, so she looks younger than she really is.

*** Miss Water B, a human-tardigrade hybrid who's functionally invincible... when hibernating, meaning her only use is a HumanShield.

* {{Sleepyhead}}: Miss Water-B, who's asleep practically all the time.

* CluelessChickMagnet: {{Invoked|Trope}} in appearance but {{subverted|trope}} in reality. Braveman's repeated refusals directed at various women who act obsessed with him have resulted in plenty of people viewing him as incredibly dense about love, but he's actually very aware of when a lady likes him. It's just that the only people that genuinely want him (like the General) are {{Abhorrent Admirer}}s that he doesn't ''want'' to acknowledge romantically, whereas the remaining construed "female attraction" is just cases of MistakenForRomance, such as GG being an UnknownRival.

* CluelessChickMagnet: Braveman is sometimes considered this by other heroes, due to them failing to realise why he's so turned off by the General.

** Later chapters add Mechayama Juuzou taking this role amongst the Villain League.

** Rose Princess became a violently obsessed PsychoLesbian towards the Secretary, and she utterly despises the Boss due to how he has the Secretary's undivided attention, and takes any chance she gets attempting to MurderTheHypotenuse before she gets stopped with an explosion from the Secretary herself.

* EveryoneCanSeeIt: It becomes increasingly clear to everybody how there's a clear case of romantic interest between the Boss and Secretary, given how they repeatedly interact in ways filled with affection and loyalty. Clear to everybody but themselves, that is, as the two keep going about their days each thinking the other only has a platonic view of their relationship. It reaches its zenith in Chapter 69, where the sight of them being ''almost'' there is so annoying to the General since her own "romance" has made zero progress, that [[ShipperOnDeck she and the Scientist]] hatch plans to try ''forcing'' them to hook up.

** The General gets extremely jealous over any contest for Braveman's attention.

** Rose Princess reacts to some ShipTease between the Boss and the Secretary by going after him with a knife.

* AuthorAppeal: GG's character profile states that she was originally meant to be a bit further down the monstrousness scale, but more and more of the author's favourite traits kept sneaking in.

* ArentYouGoingToRavishMe: The General's sole goal in life is to have Braveman take her virginity and will go to any lengths for this to happen.

* AsskickingEqualsAuthority: Both heroes and villains determine their ranks based on strength and how capable they are at their chosen profession, with the strongest among their individual groups acting as leader. That said, the story as a whole follows the concept of ThePeterPrinciple, with the highest-ranking members of both sides having various mental oddities that result in them sucking terribly at leadership and constantly failing to achieve their proclaimed goals. Also, while all the villain groups supplement their strength with BenevolentBoss attitudes that foster genuine loyalty, the heroes make no effort to actually produce a system of structure, so the hierarchy of the Hero League is determined entirely through fear and respect, though mostly fear.

** Mother Justice has the absolute largest chest among the entire female cast, visibly beating out the General by 1-2 cup sizes, and she is far and away the strongest character in the story, being powerful enough that all other heroes can't even compare, to the point she's TheDreaded for the next 3 strongest Heroes.

* TheBrute: The General is the primary powerhouse of RX, with her incredible physical abilities and impressive combat skills brought about through CharlesAtlasSuperpower training making her beat out Black Lion in sheer power by a slight margin without the problems of falling unconscious when exposed to sunlight for too long. At the same time she's also one of the dumbest characters in the manga, as she is so obsessed with both villainy and Braveman that her capacity for plan-making and problem-solving is sorely lacking, only really understanding how to brute-force things. Though she's also a bit of a GeniusDitz, as she has decent enough AwesomenessByAnalysis skills that allow her to see through lies and figure out new ways to bypass Braveman's efforts to make her stop chasing him.

** Serious Glasses is near-constantly being put into situations involving the Hero League where he's so badly SurroundedByIdiots, the stress gets to the point that heavy amounts of indigestive medication is effectively part of his daily meals. [[spoiler:It gets even worse when he takes over the job of being in charge of the Hero League when the Chairman gets arrested for trying to TakeOverTheWorld with brainwashing, as the stresses of having to command everybody makes him start having aneurysms, with him even getting incredibly angry when Mother Justice gives him a "gift" of even more medication before leaving everything to him, using the excuse of having more people to save as a way to get out of dealing with all the craziness of keeping the other heroes in check.]]

* EveryoneCanSeeIt: It becomes increasingly clear to everybody how there's a clear case of romantic interest between the Boss and Secretary, given how they repeatedly interact in ways filled with affection and loyalty. Clear to everybody but themselves, that is, as the two keep going about their days each thinking the other only has a platonic view of their relationship. It reaches its zenith in Chapter 69, where certain circumstances have caused them to become blushing and stuttering messes due to getting a wake-up call about how each of them just ''might'' like the other. This incredible denseness ends up heavily pissing off every other RX member [[ShipperOnDeck save GG and Minion 2]], since they're so close to realizing things but not quite there yet that the sight of them being lovey-dovey is embarrassingly torturous, especially for the General since her own "romance" has made zero progress, to the point the General and Scientist hatch plans to try ''forcing'' them to hook up. Their efforts fail, and get them blown up by Secretary for good measure, but they manage to make the duo stop the embarrassingly torturous beating around the bush.

** Braveman and the Secretary are the only sane people in this wacky manga. The former has to endure the stupidity that most of the RX group have, including the General, and just wants to have a serious fight. The latter is the only sane person of the RX group because she tries to take her job seriously and often gets irritated by the Boss's incompetence.

* GiantFood: One chapter has RX go foraging for food in the woods after the Scientist sprays the area with plant growth promoter. They wind up running afoul of a titanic mushroom and equally giant bamboo shoot duking it out like {{Kaiju}}.

** The Boss exemplifies this the best, since he gets the most screen-time, doing everything he can to keep them financially stable, always finding ways to keep them happy and satisfied, and overall treating the group like a family. He even lets Braveman beat him simply because the General was so looking forward to seeing Braveman victorious.

** GG likes Minion 2, and Minion 1 keeps getting into sexy situations with the Scientist (albeit reluctantly). Minion 3 has nobody, which clearly upsets him.

** Superheroine Impact has an utterly massive appetite, even being introduced eating numerous plates of dango, and she gets [[BerserkButton very angry if you mess with her food]]. Unfortunately, said appetite is so enormous that if she misses even a single meal, she gets so hungry she can barely function. It's to the point that, unlike the physical punishments for Marshmallow Head and Metal Prisoner, Mother Justice's punishment against Impact for failing to stop the villain infiltration is forbidding her from eating anything for a month, something that leaves her a sobbing and starving mess.

** Superheroine Impact has a decently big chest, being slightly smaller than the General, which does well to signify that despite being strong enough to be one of the Top 3 Heroes, her debilitatingly massive appetite, which causes her to lose her strength if she misses a meal, prevents her from being as effective a powerhouse as she could be.

* WorfHadTheFlu: The Boss has [[MindOverMatter telekinetic powers]] so strong that he's able to contend with some of the strongest superheroes in the world, with some implication that if he ever got serious he could potentially match even [[FlyingBrick Mother Justice]]. As a result of this, whenever another organization seriously considers facing him, they do everything they can to prevent him from using his powers, such as tricking him into eating laxatives that keep his mind focused on the bathroom or [[spoiler:brainwashing the Secretary to kill herself if he uses his powers against her or the person that brainwashed her]].
