In fact, it's not until nearly chapter 100 that the subject of Gospel's father comes up in any form, when Eliza asks about Lorem's husband. Lorem hesitates to answer but eventually settles on assuring Eliza he's a good person.

** This is a potentially lethal problem for demon children. Especially if their powers are particularly strong. It's unfortunately common for a young demon to harm themselves or their families because they can't control their powers. Lorem met Fuuga after he had frozen himself with his ice powers and thawed him out. As for Lorem herself, a recurring flashback scene shows Merii huddled over a charred and blackened Lorem, suggesting it's very likely that Lorem would never have survived to adulthood had Merii not been around.

** Valentine has a similar issue, but unlike Chiharu she can ''do'' something about it. When she and Chiharu hang out with some of the other lady demons, both are noticeably upset at the bust sizes of their companions. Chiharu ends up seeing Valentine use her shapeshifting to enlarge her chest on the spot.

* HeroicSacrifice: [[spoiler:Valentine, who has spent years training her singing voice in the hope that her songs can help bring true peace between humans and demons, is utterly horrified when she discovers that her voice has the hidden power to force demons to demonify, which could very easily spread the image of demons as out-of-control monsters instead. She begs Merii to remove her vocal cords so that she can never cause harm like that again. Fortunately this is subverted in the end: Merii was able to identify the organ that was the true cause of the effect, and removed that instead.]]

* FantasticArousal: Demons' tails are very sensitive to touch. An omake page describes Lorem's as making her weak-kneed when touched. This is problematic for Lorem, in particular, as Gospel likes to chew on her tail despite her efforts to teach him not to. When she lets Gospel do it to calm him down, Merii notices Lorem is drooling biting her lip to keep from crying out.

* TooManyBelts: In chapter 11, Lorem finds an old outfit of hers with three belts on it. One at the waist, and one each above and below the bust. The description for the outfit even says "unnecessary belt" for the topmost belt.

* PowerUpgradingDeformation: Demons have the ability to "demonize" or "demonify", which transforms parts of their body and increases their power. The process varies slightly from demon to demon, but generally involves arms and legs becoming much more scaly and reptilian-looking in nature. One way to gauge a demon's power is by how much of their body they can demonize at once. Lorem is able to change her entire body.

From that basis comes the story of ''Musuko ga Kawaikute Shikataganai Mazoku no Hahaoya'' by Juugoya, an UrbanFantasy SliceOfLife in which Lorem raises her little boy in a world where the conflicts between human and demon have only just recently ended.

* TheMedic: Merii's tentacles can be used to generate stem cells, which enable her to heal people from darn near anything. She healed Lorem multiple times over their childhood when Lorem's PowerIncontinence caused her to hurt herself and saved Chiharu from a demon sickness that humans have otherwise never survive. She has managed to market this skill and make herself considerably wealthy.

* HorrorHunger: When child vampire Lizette has blood to drink, she is as much a CheerfulChild as one could expect from an eight year-old girl. When she ''doesn't'' have blood to drink, she can become mad from the starvation to the point of turning downright feral. She might well have been put down by humans before she turned six had Minami not realized this and made sure she could be provided with blood to drink. When Lizette accidentally runs out of blood packs, she finds Chiaru's scent almost irresistible and has to keep herself from attacking Chiharu. That chapter ends with Lizette going to pick up her blood rather than wait for it to be delivered and swearing to never run out like that again.
