The day after he finds himself dumped by his girlfriend, Sorayama Shun recieves a letter... from himself! The letter was from Shun 25 years in the past for his future self, written as a school project. The letter reminded Shun of the time when he dreamed of owning a Lamborghini Countach and being a successful professional racer. With his ambition to make his childhood dream come true and a dash of luck, Shun finds himself as a new owner of a mint-condition Lamborghini [=LP400=] Countach.

* MrFixIt: The mechanic who does the Countach's maintenance is actually a famous sculptor. He simply likes to tinker with sports cars, and sometimes doesn't charge for his job.

* TenderTears: Shun's landlord would broke into tears whenever he was driving the Dino, even causing him to crash once. He still does this a few times when Shun drove him around, but Shun helped him overcome his sorrow and ultimately decided to keep the car.

* BikerBabe: While Wakana Saotome is a fairly skilled driver, Juri Tachibana is a better fit for this trope with her attitude and car.

* SuperPrototype: The "Jota" Lamborghini Miura, a car that's technically doesn't exist as a production car[[note]]the original Jota was a Miura built as a technology test-bed. It was later bought by a private owner, only to be burnt to the ground in an accident. There were a handful of 'Jota replicas' built later, but they're counted as custom-built Miuras without a 'special' Jota recognition[[/note]]. Shun & Wakana encountered one on the road.

''Countach'' is a 2004 manga by Haruto Umezawa (Of ''Manga/HareluyaIIBoy'' and ''Bremen'' fame). It was published by Shueisha, serialized in their ''Shuukan Young Jump'' magazine and later compiled into 28 bound volumes.

* SuperPrototype: The "Jota" Lamborghini Miura, a car that's technically doesn't exist as a production car[[note]]the original Jota was a testbed that was later bought by a private owner, then burnt to the ground in an accident. There were a handful replicas built later, but they're counted as custom-built Miuras without a 'special' Jota recognition[[/note]].
