** In general, Scott Smajor has a ''reputation'' for being one of the most loyal and devoted people on the server to his allies. In Season 2, ''Last Life SMP'', his alliance with Pearl and later Cleo is one of the strongest on the server, and one of the few that survives its members turning Red -- in fact, Scott targets Cleo and Pearl specifically on Day 9 so he could reunite with them. This extends to the rest of the Survivors post-Day 7 as well; Scott is immediately open to them about being the Boogeyman[[note]](effectively a bloodlust {{geas}} to kill someone else by the end of the session or drop down to one's final, red life)[[/note]] on Day 8, and becomes the first (and only) person to ever turn Red due to his refusal to kill one of his allies.

* In ''Manhua/MyWifeIsADemonQueen'', the Queen of Thorns has loved Isabella ever since she was a tiny sapling, and when they're reunited in the present, she sheds tears of joy at their reunion. The Queen herself is on the receiving end of this from her minions, who will happily shield her with their lives, if need be.

Added DiffLines:

* ''Manhua/RavagesOfTime'': If the lord is even remotely decent or charismatic, expect his followers to show a lot of this. Lü Bu, however, is contemptuous of this trope (though, ironically, he has his own undying loyal retainer in Zhang Liao), and his defiance of this trope highlights another aspect of his "inhuman" characteristics as regarded by the common men.
* ''Manhua/WeaponsOfTheGods'':
** The little Jade Dragon imprints on the Jade King when it hatches, leading to this.
** Wen-Tian has this for Bei-Ming Xue in the beginning, at least until he mistakenly believes that she betrayed him.
** Tie-Xin eventually develops this for Wen-Tian as their relationship blossoms...at least until he chooses ethics over a (wrongly-informed) incestuous relationship, and she joins the Evil Emperor.

Added DiffLines:

* ''Manhwa/AngelDiary'':
** Se-In is devoted to Ryung Jin, and acts as his servant [[spoiler: even though Se-In is the king of the demons]].
** Hee-Young is [[spoiler:Bi-Wal's]] faithful follower. (Not that he started out that way. Hee-Young's sister ''lost him in a bet'' to the regent of Hell.)

Added DiffLines:

* ''Manhwa/TheBreaker'':
** Shi Woon develops this toward Chun Woo well into Part 2 of the series.
** [[spoiler: His personality later begins to inspire this among others, notably Sera. ]]
** Also more recently [[spoiler: Shi-Woon for the Sunwoo clan.]]
** Even more dramatically, [[spoiler: Elder Kwon for Shiwoon. Shiwoon reminds Kwon of the Sunwoo founder returned, and Kwon will sacrifice anything for the Sunwoo and Shiwoon, in that order.]]
* ''Manhwa/TheBrideOfTheWaterGod'': Habaek to Nakbin: [[spoiler:It was revealed that Habaek knew Nakbin was under the emperor's orders but loved her just the same, even giving Nakbin the right to order his death instead of just putting a curse. He also initially planned on dying with her had it not been for Hoo-ye's interference. Even after falling in love with So-ah, he chose to remain with Nakbin in the imperial palace and promised to never send her away even if she's not his soul mate bound by the red string. Finally, Habaek honored Nakbin's command not to look at some other woman the same way he used to look at her by telling So-ah that he will look only at her with his one eye (metaphorically though, since his damaged eye is completely healed), signifying that while he loves So-ah, he will never love someone the same way with Nakbin.]]
* ''Manhwa/KingOfHell'': Interestingly, Samhuk seems to be developing this toward Majeh. Despite the fact that he originally started working for Majeh only after he caught Samhuk spying on him, later on in the series Samhuk places Majeh's interests above his own several times. The biggest instance is when Samhuk is injured to the point of having his astral body disappear, he doesn't go back to hell to recuperate; his first thought is to get information to Majeh, rather than save himself. Also seems to be a strange bit of HeroWorship with Samhuk making giant sparkly eyes whenever Majeh does something cool. This will probably only increase as Samhuk seems more than ready to pledge his allegiance to Majeh when he [[spoiler: becomes the next King of Hell.]]
* ''Manhwa/TheLegendOfMaian'':
** Even after 1000 years, the Regis Knights remain loyal to Felicia. [[spoiler: Strongly averted for Diha Shion who was ironically the most loyal to Felicia in the beginning.]]
** Ruby is this to Fenix. [[spoiler: She remained loyal to him for 5 years, despite his Devilshu Curse and his {{Jerkass}} abuse of her.]]
* ''Manhwa/TheScholarsReincarnation'': Kyung-ho, Jung-woo's personal attendant, has made it clear that he takes his job seriously, and will do everything in his power to help Jung-woo.

*** For someone who is typically a WildCard, Etho stands out in
Secret Life season of for his loyalty to the ''WebVideo/LifeSMP'', Roomies alliance; notably on Day 7, he refuses to rat out or kill Cleo and Grian even after he's infected during the ZombieApocalypse event, and defends them even when they're not present. * This trope is essentially the creed of the main characters in the ''Franchise/AceAttorney'' series, passed down from Mia to Phoenix, who in turn passed it on to Apollo and Athena; as defense attorneys, their job is to always believe in their clients "until the bitter end". This trope also works in reverse, however, in that they only take a case if they're convinced they can believe in the defendant, and [[spoiler:when an actual culprit tried to extort Phoenix into taking his case, he turned the tables on him instead to avoid indicting an innocent witness]].
