Of course, you'd certainly do that if you were burdened with being mistaken for the opposite gender of what you are, so him being the Manly Man is certainly justifiable. Slim, meanwhile, is a snarky, neurotic Butt-Monkey who is used as a prop as a result of being a stick insect, and Heimlich is a plump, soft-hearted caterpillar who is the most emotional of the three and shows a longing to become a "beautiful butterfly".

* ''WesternAnimation/DespicableMe'': Margo as the neither (the oldest, smartest and more level-headed one), Edith as the butch (the middle one who could well be OneOfTheBoys) and Agnes as the femme (the youngest, sickeningly cute one).

** ''Anime/DigimonAdventure'''s trio of girls are [[OneOfTheBoys Sora]] (butch), [[SpoiledSweet Mimi]] (femme) and [[AffirmativeActionGirl Kari]] (neither).
