* In ''Anime/{{Monster Rancher}}'' episode 44 "Magical Stone Mayhem" Lilim almost kills Holly and Tiger, steals the magic stone, and almost kills the searchers (by having the army or robots shoot them to death). As she's leaving, Genki grabs on to her legs while she's flying away-- only for her to kick him down. He falls 30 feet only to be saved at the last second. Lilim tells him "Thanks again," blows a flirtatious kiss, and then flies off. Also in the same episode after she steals the magic stone from holly she gives it a kiss so in a way it's kind of a take that kiss by kissing the stone and then mockingly telling holly "thanks". Inthe uncut version of episode 45, she betrays General Durahan and kills his crew and collection of monsters. After a hard battle, she ambushes him from behind and steals the magic stone again. Before leaving, she blows him a goodbye kiss. It's safe to say lilim loves this trope so much she'd problably give it a kiss.

Whereas the Take-That Kiss sometimes serves to confirm previous FoeYay vibes, it also can be the ''only'' thing in the characters' exchanges that suggests FoeYay at all. It will typically be more of a taunting/patronizing/desperate/tricksterish/arrogant domination display than a romantic/sexy come-on--though it's quite often played as an ironic version of a come-on, or possibly some kind of complicated double-bluff.

* In the Northern Ballet Theatre's version of ''RomeoandJuliet'': during the fight between Mercutio and Tybalt, Mercutio laughs in Tybalt's face before giving him a huge, emasculating kiss in front of all the Capulets. This doesn't go down too well.
* In the RSC production of ''theatre/Richard II'', Justbefore the duel scene Richard kisses Bolingbroke in a very power-play sort of way.
