* In ''Literature/TheStormlightArchive'', [[spoiler: King Taravingian]] has one which was written on a day when his [[spoiler: mutable intelligence was astronomically high]]. It functions as something between a master plan and holy scripture for his followers.

** Sledge's Safehouse in its entirety is one massive house of crazy. "THEY GOT ME" written in blood on the walls, presumably written by the victims in their own blood at the command of their captors, bodies chained up all over an strung up like chandeliers leaking pools of blood, huge blood splatter everywhere,) bodies stuck to the walls and ceilings via steel rods jammed through their eyes, a room with an armless body along with several dismembered appendages and a body stuck up on the ceiling, a small 'colosseum' where victims were presumably forced to fight the cannibalistic 'Psychos' for sport, and on and on. In many cases, fresh blood still drips down from strung up bodies.

* ''Series/StarTrekEnterprise''. Played with in "Borderland", where Arik Soong's prison cell is lined with his equations neatly written out on paper. He may be a MadScientist, but his reasoning is entirely rational.

* The eponymous work of ''[[Film/DasTestamentDesDoktorMabuse The Testament of Doctor Mabuse]]'', written by a former criminal genius gone mad who is unresponsive except for his hand which keeps writing whether he has pen and paper or not. Seemingly scrawled gibberish, the pages assembled in the right order form [[spoiler: a manual to bring about the "Reign of Crime", and meaningless but terrifying crimes around Germany demonstrate someone's read the manual ...]]

* Diamondback on LukeCage manages to fit an entire room full of crazy in a pocket-sized form. He carries a [[AsTheGoodBookSays Bible]] wherever he goes, and when he lets a character look at it, turns out every single page is absolutely filled with annotations, highlights, circled passages etc, filling up every bit of white space of roughly 1,281 pages. The reaction is exactly like walking into a RoomFullofCrazy.

* Milder version in the ''Anime/SailorMoon'' anime. Whenever Hotaru Tomoe's [[SplitPersonality Mistress Nine personality]] manifested herself [[spoiler: before [[SplitPersonalityTakeover definitely taking over her]] ]], she would be seen [[http://www.soul-hunter.com/sailormoon/galleryscreencaps/120/index3.php in a darkened room]] with no visible windows (the light inside comes from many lamps instead), sitting on a very detailed chair similar on a throne, ''and'' with many [[CreepyDoll dolls and stuffed animals]] ([[KickTheDog which MN!Hotaru would occasionally rip in half with her bare hands]]) at her feet.
