A subcategory of NotableWebcomics involving {{science fiction}}-based plotlines. Pretty much anything that makes regular, plot-intensive use of objects which are scientifically fantastic qualifies here.

We know that drawing the line between these and [[NotableFantasyWebcomics fantasy]] can get a bit [[ScienceFictionVersusFantasy confusing]], so just use your best judgement. * TheEnds: A story of survival and revelation in a post-apocalyptic wasteland apparently caught in a GroundhogDayLoop of death and rebirth.

Started out as a [[ComicBookTropes print comic]] before making its way to the web. Noted with great favor for updating exactly when promised, at the stroke of midnight, three days a week.
* GirlsInSpace: A Space girl and her Earthling friend have exciting space adventures in their upgraded VW Camper Van.

* TheInexplicableAdventuresOfBob!: [[ActionSurvivor Bob Smithson]] is a [[WeirdnessMagnet Weirdness Magnet (or rather, the roof of his house is)]], whose life has filled with [[{{Alien}} aliens of various kinds]], robots, [[{{MIB}} Men in Black]] (agents [[PunnyName Ben and Jerry]]) and genetically engineered creatures, one of which is now his adopted daughter. Cute and silly but with surprisingly likable characters.

The art style is unique and improved considerably over the course of the comic. Contains explicit violence and some suggestive content, so it's recommended for readers aged 16 years old or more.

The stories use plot arcs to parody many classic films and pop-culture icons, most notably ''StarWars'', JamesBond and the late Steve Irwin. * AMiracleOfScience: A webcomic that taps into the psyche of a MadScientist, and the science of memetics, which can be used to cure (or cause) psychological issues. The comic even made a name for it: ScienceRelatedMemeticDisorder (or SRMD, for short). Completed.
* {{Monstar}}: In Australia, green-eyed Monstar deals with everyday life, hangs out with his friend Bunnee, and occasionally saves the world.
* {{Narbonic}}: Answering an innocent job offer, Dave Davenport is drawn into a shocking spiral of vice, crime and moral depravity. Hopelessly ensnared by a madwoman's feminine wiles, can he return to the world of sanity before it is... too late? Formerly on a subscription site, the story ended in late 2006, whereupon the entire archive was made free. Highly recommended! Available in archive form and in reruns with author's commentary.

* SarahZero: In TheFuture, TheInternet has been shut down and replaced by a [[MegaCorp corporation-controlled]] pay-to-play network called the Contranet, which is so integrated with daily life that interpersonal relations have been reduced to shallow friend whoring. Meanwhile, Sarah Zierinski tries to work out her own emotional problems and run a nightclub without being destroyed by KillerRobots or horse assassins. Notable for its liberal use of the DesignStudentsOrgasm.
* SkinHorse: From the creator of ''{{Narbonic}}''. An understaffed and underfunded government department attempts to deal with the creations of Mad Science.
