** Otto Hahn, part of the team that discovered nuclear fission (with Lise Meitner and Fritz Strasseman) and leader of the Nazi bomb project

** It happens earlier in the series when Helo shoots Athena on Caprica. She had fooled him into thinking she was Boomer/a human in an effort to get him to fall in love with her, in order to conceive a child. He later finds out she's a Cylon when he sees one of her sister/clones. She approaches him and tries to convince him she really does love him, and was genuinely trying to get them off the planet... and he shot her. He then realizes his love for her outweighed any distrust he had and bandaged her wound. Thankfully, she lived and they went on to form one of the few fireproof couples in the series. [[spoiler: He would later shoot her again, and this time kill her, so she could resurrect near their kidnapped daughter to rescue her.
