* Younger Toguro and Sensui from ''YuYuHakusho''. Both DeathSeekers who wanted Yusuke to defeat them. Both have existential crises based around WhatMeasureIsANonHuman. The only difference is that Toguro was looking for power, and Sensui had already found it, but had pretty much [[ComesGreatInsanity gone nuts]] doing so. Oh, yeah, and Sensui has a better grasp of XanatosGambit than Toguro ever did.

*** Incorrect. The Spirit Bomb only ever worked [[TheWorfBarrage ONCE]], against Buu.

** It wasn't Divatox that was the bigger threat than the machine empire it was what she wanted to do (release Maligore) who was the bigger threat that required upgrading. And there was no point in going back to inferior powers.
** How exactly are the Turbo Powers superior? The Zeo powers had infinite potential and would continue to get stronger Foreeeeeever. They never adequately explained the change over.
** Supposedly, Divatox and Dark Spector found a way to reverse the Zeo Crystal so that it would stop getting stronger. Then, when the Rangers were no longer getting stronger, a full-out assault led to the Super Zeo Zords being destroyed, and the Zeo powers themselves endangered, requiring the upgrade. But all this was cut for time from the Turbo movie, and the script pages for it (presumably) shredded. So we'll never know exactly how it was all supposed to work. May partially explain why the Gold Ranger is getting whooped so easily in "Countdown to Destruction."

** Hell, from this troper's experience (I'm chinese), any Communist takeover is bound to be like this. Castro is basically Batista part 2, Mao is basically Chiang part 2, Lenin is basically the Tsar part 2. And in most of these examples, the replacement is worse.

* Many Eastern Europeans found Soviet rule to be little different from Nazi occupation.
** Surely it was markedly different in that during the Cold War the Soviets weren't rounding up and butchering entire populations...
*** Your right they didn't usually round people up, they staved them to death first when they took the grain that the farmers grew and sold to other countries. Sometimes they didn't wait for them to completely die, just to weak to resist, before throwing them in mass graves, or sometimes called by the locales "moving mounds". **** Actually, both the Nazis and the Soviets did both of those things. See the Katyn Massacre, for instance.
