** Taken to darker extremes during the Cell Saga where the titular [[BigBad Cell]] in his Semi-Perfect form after losing Android 18, does this via his "Unforgivable" technique in attempt to kill Gohan who had outclassed him via his newly unlocked SSJ2 form. He ends up inflating himself to as big as a mountain, he winds up killing Goku when he teleports the blimp sized Cell to King Kai's planet, as the self-destruct blast would have destroyed the Earth. His successor from ''Anime/DragonballSuperSuperHero'' Cell MAX also has this ability, but it's significantly weaker in comparison.
** Also happens in the Buu Saga as well, thanks to Majin Buu's (aka Good Buu) rubbery capabilities.
