* ''Anime/TheCastleOfCagliostro'': the Cagliostro family's centuries-old counterfeiting operation of (allegedly) untraceable "Goat Bills" were used to cause the collapse of the Bourbon dynasty, financed Napoleon's campaigns, and caused TheGreatDepression.

* ''Anime/TheMysteryOfMamo'': The titular Mamo has personally claimed credit to all of the worst tragedies of humanity over the last 10,000 years.
