* ''Fanfic/MyDriverAcademia'': Aizawa is fired in Chapter 37 when his class accepts his substitute, an ex-villain from the USJ, more than him. This is also combined with the revelation that over 20 ex-students of his were arrested at the USJ, and many more either committed suicide or became criminals and villains.
* ''Fanfic/ThinkBeforeYouSpeakMHA'': Aizawa's MaliciousSlander attempts on Izuku backfires on him, costing him his teaching job and even his hero career, while also providing the perfect excuse for the HPSC to poke around in the school. It's heavily implied that when the Aldera investigation concludes and they find out Bakugou's behavior was a recurring issue that was ''allowed'', UA will be put under permanent HPSC control, while Aizawa would end up being blacklisted from heroics for not only defending Bakugou, but trying to [[BlamingTheVictim blame Izuku for Tenya's injuries.]]

* Happens to Walter White on ''Series/BreakingBad'' about halfway through the show's run, when, after a period where his marriage was on the rocks, he decides to hit on the principal of his school. Of course, at that point, he's making far more money cooking and selling meth then he ever could at teaching, and isn't particularly concerned with losing his job aside from the embarrassment factor.
