* Creator/WilliamShakespeare's villains tend to use an overabundance of food/mouth imagery. Shylock in ''Theatre/TheMerchantOfVenice'' is particularly fond of this:
-->'''Salarino:''' Why, I am sure, if he forfeit, thou wilt not take his flesh. What's that good for?\\
'''Shylock:''' To bait fish withal. [[ItsPersonal If it will feed nothing else, so it will feed my revenge]].

* This is the plot for the horror movie ''TheStuff'', which revolves around a mysterious white substance, similar to ice cream, which is found underground. People discover that the Stuff is incredibly tasty and addictive, and virtually free of fat on top of it. Unfortunatly, it turns out that the Stuff is NOT organic, but actually a kind of hive mind parasite. The Stuff isnt digested, but builds up in the eaters body, until enough is present, turning the eater into a TechnicallyAliveZombie.

* In the Thomas Harris book ''Literature/BlackSunday'', the terrorist leader Fasil is eating a rich Swiss chocolate bar, and licking the remaining melted chocolate off his fingertips, admitting that if the Israeli Mosad ever knew of his pecadillo in how much he loved chocolate they'd probably have a means to catch him.

* In ''Literature/TheBlissBakery'', all magical bakers can make baked goods taste heavenly. The evil ones use this for their evil means, of course. In the first novel, [[spoiler:aunt Lily bakes for the children, and it turns out the (delicious) food makes them unable to tell or otherwise inform their parents about her "visit".]]

* In ''Series/StargateAtlantis'', the Wraith need to drain life energy from others in order to survive. Whether this is evil is up for debate; they have to do so in order to survive, after all. But there's no mistaking the almost-rapturous joy that the Wraith experience while draining others, as well as the incredible pain that their victims go through. (The process is so traumatic that the Wraith actually have to strengthen their victims using a special chemical in order to prevent them from dying instantly of shock.) Most Wraith are also very malicious and sadistic, so they probably qualify as an example of the trope. Worth noting is one of Todd's lines in a recent episode. While offering the Atlantis crew some food they picked up during a culling, he mentions he hopes the fruits "taste as good as the farmers who grew them." An early episode had an unusually droll Wraith comment that "Unfortunately, your last chef proved far more appetizing than the meals he prepared." Although he was a single episode baddie, after a season or so some of the ideas behind that character evolved into the character of Todd.

* Sylar in ''Series/{{Heroes}}'' occasionally describes his [[PowerCopying acquisition of powers]] in culinary terms, talking about his "hunger" to "consume" or "sink his teeth into" the "delicious" powers of others. There is widespread fan speculation that he steals superpowers by [[BrainFood eating the brains]] of superhumans. Even after the whole "brain eating" thing was explicitly {{Jossed}}, the characters continue to refer to Sylar's desire for power as a "hunger" and his process of taking the powers of others as "feeding". Potential victims (the Level 5 Villains) are referred to as a "smorgasboard" and a "buffet".

* [[LiteralMetaphor Incredibly literal]] example in C.S. Lewis's ''Literature/TheScrewtapeLetters''. Demons feed off the souls of the damned (along with other demons who screwed up), and the worse the soul is, the better it tastes. [[CompleteMonster Real monsters]] like Casanova and Hitler are delectable, whereas petty sinners make poor meals and atheists are just plain tasteless (though they're far more common than the monstrously evil ones, since it's way easier to tempt a man into committing multiple comparatively minor sins and/or rejecting God than it is to tempt them into utter depravity. For this reason, Screwtape advises Wormwood to [[BoringButPractical just focus on wrapping his 'patient' up in petty, worldly concerns]] rather than aiming high and potentially causing a MyGodWhatHaveIDone that could send the patient to heaven).

* This is apparently the case in the ''BatmanVampire'' trilogy, and is specifically brought up in the second part, ''Bloodstorm''. A newly risen vampire, a mob boss who says he couldnt stand the sight of blood when he was alive, goes on a rant about how now there's nothing more alluring in the world. [[spoiler: When Batman himself finally succumbs to bloodthirst and drains the Joker, this turns out to be true]].

* Parodied in ''Manga/TentaiSenshiSunred''. 'BigBad' Vamp often involves food in his speeches, because cooking is his hobby (he's actually a very good cook, according to his 'mortal nemesis' Sunred). He is liable to fill awkward moments by talking about cooking, and the anime gave him his own cooking segments.
-->'''Sunred:''' You guys should really just give up the 'WorldDomination' business and open a restaurant.

In another episode, he intends to brainwash the American military by putting mind-control serum in their sandwiches.
