** For those who wonder why he just doesn't use his first name if it's so awful, that's a case of DubInducedPlotHole. In Japanese, his name is a single word, with Pansuto (pantyhose) being the prefix and taro being the suffix. So, in Japanese, it'd be sort of like "my name's Bob, but call me Ob". Unfortunately, it doesn't translate well into English.

** For those who wonder why he just doesn't use his first name if it's so awful, that's a case of DubInducedPlotHole. In Japanese, "Taro" isn't his surname, but a common suffix for Japanese boys' names (like Kintaro, Kotaro, etc); his full name is a single word, with Pansuto (pantyhose) being the prefix and taro being the suffix."Pantyhosetaro". So, in Japanese, it'd be sort of like "my name's Bob, but call me Ob". Unfortunately, it doesn't translate well into English.
