* Joseph Gribble, Dale's son from ''WesternAnimation/KingOfTheHill''. This can be partially attributed to Dale, a massive ConspiracyTheorist and general nutbar, being his primary parent. And unlike most examples, he loves his son and often works with him on various crazy projects.

A standard sitcom family usually has one or more of the following: the [[MyBelovedSmother Beloved Smother]], the BrattyHalfPint, the [[BrattyTeenageDaughter Over-dramatic Teenage Daughter]] and the BumblingDad. Of course, to round out the [[NuclearFamily nuclear sitcom family]], there's one more element needed to balance out the 2.4 kids...

* Eddie Winslow from ''Series/FamilyMatters'' starts as this but he grows out of it, though he occasionally has his moments even in later seasons. Borderline racist portrayal. He's seen as the "guido" of the gang. His usage of "sis" (and "bro", though he doesn't use it) is seen as very un-black and very Spanish-like. Laura does say "bro" but it's in sarcasm (see "Test of Friendship" episode). He's pretty much only BookDumb by season 2, especially after his best friend Waldo is introduced and becomes the show's resident idiot.

** Possibly ripped off by ''Series/{{Fresh Prince of Bel Air}}'' (1990, one year later) with Carlton Banks, except for the dumb part. He's childish and is a foil for Will and even Phil at times, who tells him to "Shut up" every now and then. He's a guido who says "bro" and "sis" at least twice in the show (which the other characters do not).

He's (he gets straight A's in school) but is still childish and is naive, usually acting as a foil for Will and even his father Phil at times, who tells him to "Shut up" every now and then. He's a guido who says "bro" and "sis" at least twice in the show (which the other characters do not).

* Averted with JJ from ''Series/{{Good Times}}". Even though his "Dynomite" line tends to annoy James, and his sister, he is beloved by the family, and sometimes the line makes Florida laugh.
