You see, Elvis was a [[RealMenLoveJesus devout Christian]] and genuinely humble man, so to his mind "The King" was, well, [[{{Jesus}} the King of Kings]], and "the King of Rock and Roll" was Music/FatsDomino (he felt that [[ButNotTooBlack he had only gotten the appellation because he was white]] and that Domino was a far better musician).
