* In the ''Series/{{Tracker}}'' episode "Into the Breach", Cole goes into the facility on his own to retrieve a captured Vardian fugitive but gets captured himself. It doesn't work at first, because heat being is used to weaken the Vardian while Cole thrives on heat and energy. But when they turn to cold, Cole is caught and about to be dissected before the fugitive interrupts and frees him. The fugitive is mortally wounded during the escape, and Cole makes the collection of his life force painless in return for helping him escape.
