** An extremely gross version of this happened in ''Real Fact Comics'' #5, which depicted Batman's conception by Creator/BobKane ([[SelfServingMemory and solely Bob Kane]], no mention of Creator/BillFinger and Creator/JerryRobinson's contributions to the Bat-mythos). According to this VeryLooselyBasedOnATrueStory, Kane asked a friend to model Batman for him, complete with costume, as he is drawing him for the first time... only the costume looks like Batman's then-current design (the blue cape and grey bodysuit), rather than either a) the original design Kane made for him or b) the design made by Finger that was the one to actually see print. One can still claim ArtisticLicense and that DC just wanted to make Batman's origin simpler for kids by not mentioning the design changes, but the comic is literally titled "[[NonIndicativeName Real Fact Comics]]".
