* VideoGame/Undertale: [[spoiler:Photoshop Flowey]] is an EldritchAbomination who only looks like a mess of parts, using a mess of artstyles not used or seen anywhere else before. The boss doesn't even look like it even belongs in this game (or any game, really) with only the character's face reminding what game you're playing.

* This is inevitable in a franchise like VideoGame/SuperSmashBros due to it being a huge crossover of different Nintendo and other Third party games. It continued to grow and grow as the series went on and added more fighters, and it's gotten to the point where it is not weird to see the Anime looking Pit fighting against the blocky looking Steve in a cartoony stage from VideoGame/AnimalCrossing.
While a lot of the cast is given some visual tweaks for art style pairity (for example, Mario's overalls have more detailing and Bayonetta's proportions are less exagurated), Mr. Game and Watch and Steve stand out from being direct recreations of their original styles.
