* ''Toys/{{Bionicle}}'' films:
** In ''WesternAnimation/BionicleMaskOfLight'', Lewa, the Toa of Air can activate the fire power of Tahu's Magma Sword as part of a ritual to cleanse Tahu's poisoned mask. In most other canon media, [[ElementalPowers element-weilding]] characters can only channel their own elements regardless of whose tool they're using.
** Whenua's Mask of Night Vision gains the power to act as a literal flashlight and [[XRayVision see through walls]] in ''WesternAnimation/Bionicle2LegendsOfMetruNui''. This is justifiable though, as the mask has only been shown in its less powerful Noble form before, rather than the full-strength Great form seen in the film.
** Matau's Aero Slicer swords gain the ability to transform into genuine wings for Matau to glide with, while in the comics, promos and on his actual toy, the swords are merely placed on his back to give the semblance of wings. While Matau's [[MaskOfPower mask power]] ''is'' {{shapeshifting}}, the wings seem to be an unrelated ability.
** After the Toa lose their mask powers in ''Web of Shadows'', Nuju can still use his built-in telescopic eye lens as an X-ray heat-camera that gives him handy readouts of whoever he sees, and ability he has not demonstrated before.
* ''WesternAnimation/DCLeagueOfSuperpets'': Ace has super strength and durability, just not to Krypto's level. His comics counterpart is a BadassNormal. And Chip is based on Ch'p, but has ShockAndAwe powers instead of a Green Lantern ring.
* ''WesternAnimation/SpiderManAcrossTheSpiderVerse'': [[Characters/SpiderWoman Jessica Drew]] can fire webbing from her fingertips, similar to her ComicBook/UltimateMarvel incarnation. The mainline comic version of Jessica does not possess the ability to spin webs, nor does she use mechanical web-shooters like Peter Parker.

*** Rather infamously, [[Characters/MarvelComicsDeadpool Deadpool]] was changed from essentially being a SuperSoldier with enhanced strength, reflexes, and a HealingFactor to having [[AllYourPowersCombined a mishmash of various mutant abilities]] that include EyeBeams and teleportation. He also had [[BladeBelowTheShoulder retractable katana blades implanted in his forearms]].

Added DiffLines:

** In the comics, Kole had the ability to generate crystals out of thin air as well as flight. Here, she can turn ''herself'' into durable crystal and lacks any flying ability.
