* In ''Manga/CantDefyTheLonelyGirl'', Honda becomes attracted to Sakurai when she swapped her strawberry milk with her in return for her coffee milk. Albeit there was more to it than just that: she became enamored with her largely because she was the first person to give Honda any kind of attention especially with her parents being absent from her life for the most part.

* This trope doesn't get more literal than it does in ''Manga/The100GirlfriendsWhoReallyReallyReallyReallyReallyLoveYou''. Two soulmates looking into each other's eyes will experience a Love Shock and fall in love with one another. As in, they literally both have to see each other's eyes to experience this, as shown with [[spoiler:Hahari]], who Rentarou couldn't see until special eyedrops got cleaned out of his eyes, [[spoiler:Mei]], who had her EyesAlwaysShut until he figured out how to get her to open them, and [[spoiler:Mai]], who refused to look at him until she was forced by circumstances into doing so.

* In ''Manhua/GoddessCreationSystem'', Ming Zhu, a princess from the plains of the main setting, fell in love with the gorgeous crown prince at first glance. Xiaxi argues that this is a terrible basis for a relationship, especially given their different values and high social position: Ming Zhu is used to a certain amount of social flexibility and more women's rights, but if she married Jun'er she'd have to give up the lifestyle she's used to, could be reduced to a concubine or at least be one of many wives and if she ever became an obstacle to the crown prince or raised a fuss she could be taken hostage or end up starting a war. Plus, there's the obvious fact that she doesn't even know him and could turn out to despise him after marrying him.

* In the {{Manhwa}} ''Manhwa/PigBride'' Ji-Oh and Mu- Hwa get one of the most detailed Love At First Sight sequences ever. 4 pages are dedicated to the few seconds where Ji-Oh first sees Mu-Hwa perched on his dormitory veranda railing and there's even a close up of her reflected in his eye when she springs at him wielding a sword. The strangest part? They're only the ''BetaCouple!''[[note]]Even stranger; they're not even necessarily THE Beta Couple, as the two of them end up in a LoveTriangle with [[AlphaBitch Doe-Doe]] (who falls in love with Ji-Oh after giving up on protagonist Si-Joon) which is still unresolved by the end of the series.[[/note]]

* [[MakingASplash Juvia Lockser]] falls in love with [[AnIcePerson Gray Fullbuster]] at first sight in ''Manga/FairyTail''. Her feelings are compounded as he's the first person to defeat her... and he [[ThanksForTheMammary accidentally groped her in the middle of their fight]].
** In turn, Gray's rival Lyon falls in love with ''Juvia'' at first sight, prompting a hilarious LoveTriangle.
** Happy the cat also falls madly in love with fellow flying cat Carla when they first meet in the Oracion Seis Arc. The feeling isn't mutual, as Carla rejects his advances, but Happy continues to show an immense interest in her.

** Yamcha and Bulma fall in love at first sight, hilariously it happens just before Yamcha was about to finish off Goku (yeah you read that right) and seeing Bulma puts him out of action and Yamcha retreats from the battle. Of course even though Yamcha and Bulma dated, it doesn't work out between them as Bulma has Vegeta's child while Yamcha apparently played the field.

* ''LightNovel/ExpectingToFallIntoRuinIAimToBecomeABlacksmith'': Kururi and Eliza admit that they fell for each other like this [[spoiler: before Kururi’s HeroicSacrifice]].

* Practically a staple for the ''Music/EvilliousChronicles''--though the most notable examples are actually the product of magic, such as the titular duke of ''LightNovel/TheLunacyOfDukeVenomania'' using his powers for instant seduction (or pursuing women out of instant sexual attraction and pretending it's love), and Michaela's many instant suitors in ''LightNovel/WiegenliedOfGreen'' from her being a reborn forest spirit.

* Katarina's parents in ''LightNovel/MyNextLifeAsAVillainessAllRoutesLeadToDoom'' fell for each at first sight with her father in particular going to her family to arrange a marriage. However, because he felt ashamed at getting engaged to her without her consent he acted awkwardly around her which she took as being upset at getting engaged to a woman who was slightly older than him. As such their relationship would have soured despite having a daughter until said daughter inadvertently clears things up for them by acting like a horrible monkey child instead of the duchess she is.
