While fairly weak as she is, not helped by the {{Hikikomori}} lifestyle she lived until now, the moment she swallows even the smallest drop of blood, she gains a massive boost to her physical and magical abilities that's makes her leagues above many of those around her in terms of strength. However, this also causes her to become an indiscriminate killing machine, and the first time she had blood resulted in her killing everyone in her household ([[GoodThingYouCanHeal Good Thing They Can Revive]]). This prompted her father to hypnotise her into disliking blood to avoid a repeat incident.

* MedievalStasis: The presence of the Dark Core means that almost everyone is immortal. In a setting where DeathIsCheap, outside of a few circumstances, like death by natural aging, means that many nations don't have a desire to improve or develop themselves. There are some minor exceptions like the Peace Spirits who use their time to develop technology like gunpowder that doesn't rely on magic, but for the most part, many are satisfied with the way things are. [[spoiler:It's one of the things that the BigBad Spica detests. Stating that most of the Six Nations development have become stagnant, blaming the Dark Core as one of the major reasons for this.]]

* MagneticHero: Komari shows to be this, mostly thanks to her kind heart, hate of violence and resolve. [[spoiler: Villhaze became fully devoted to her after Komari protected her from Millicent's bullying. Sakuna Memoir was very quick to abandon Inverse Moon and choose to protect Komari after knowing her for around two days. Nelia Cunningham grew to like her after the two of them had a conversation back when they were children. Even Millicent, while never fully letting go of her hatred, grew to respect Komari.]]

* NeverMyFault: [[spoiler: Millicent's StartOfDarkness, while in part due to her abusive upbringing, can also be blamed on her inability to accept fault in her previous actions. At school, she heard about Vill's Core Implosion and requested that she demonstrate it by telling her future, and proceeded to bully her when Vill revealed Milicent had a hard life ahead of her. This eventually leads to her bullying Komari when she stands up to Millicent on Vill's behalf. This culminates in when she tried to steal Komari’s pendent, a memento from her mother, and ends up getting killed by her after she accidentally swallows blood and activates her Core Implosion during the scuffle. The incident led to her getting disowned and expelled and, having nowhere else to go, joining Inverse Moon, and harbouring a vehement hatred of Komari despite it being the result of her {{Barbaric Bully}}ing.]]

* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Empress Karen, [[BunnyEarsLawyer for all her quirks]], is this in spades. [[spoiler: She even pardons Millicent, despite the latter being part of Inverse Moon, and gives her a high rank.]]
