Maladie And Other Stories (''Maladie i inne opowiadania'') is short story collection, composed of all short stories written by Polish writter Creator/AndrzejSapkowski created through his life (more specifically from 1988 to 2007) that weren't part of [[Literature/TheLastWish two]] [[Literature/SwordOfDestiny Witcher anthologies]]. Released in 2012, the short stories as uncommonly for Sapkowski are mostly fantasy, although he also tackles two other genres - science-fiction and horror. It also consisting of two stories set in [[Franchise/TheWitcher Witcherverse]], but none of them are part of main series (first being a [[Prequel]], and second being [[CanonDiscontinuity non-canon]]).

* W leju po bombie (''In The Bomb Funnel''): A satirical science-fiction story set in alternative version of Poland where Polish city Suwałki is occupied by German and Lithuanian armies, both fighting with eachother. Story mostly criticizing clergy, radical nationalism and militarism with great dose of black humor.
* Coś się kończy coś się zaczyna (''Something Ends Something Begins''): Non-canon story taking place during Geralt's and Yennefer's wedding preparations, full of comedic shenanigans caused by titular characters and other beloved Witcher characters. AS wrote it as honoring two very popular fantasy writters and his good friends at that, marrying eachother, that's why he thinks of the story more as an "typical day at the fantasy convention" than actual Witcher story.
* Bitewny pył (''Battle Dust''): More of a joke, than an actual story, ''Battle Dust'' was written by Sapkowski beacuse one of his friends from fantasy convention giving him an idea of writting small part of the bigger story (a space opera at that) as a joke, publishing it in the magazine with heading reading ''Sapkowski ends with fantasy and Witcher cycle to start space opera novel''. And considering it's Sapkowski we are talking about, he found the idea most delightful.
