Added DiffLines:

* ExcaliburInTheRust: They find the Sword of Exocius in the dungeon, which once belonged to an angel of the sixth rank. However, it is so rusted that it was impossible to tell it apart from an ordinary iron sword. Shirou was able to restore it with his repair skill but has no use for it.

Added DiffLines:

* MistreatmentInducedBetrayal: Janice is abusive to her lover, who mainly stays with her out of fear and financial dependence. [[spoiler: When she is critically injured in a bombing she is forced to trust him with her money to fetch a healer. Upon realizing that she can't whip him with her broken arms he takes off with it.]]

* {{Golem}}: Soon after getting left alone on the island, Shirou starts producing golems out of stone, wood, or metal. They have rather simple designs, but as he levels up the category he is able to make more models.

Added DiffLines:

* {{Matriarchy}}: Of the flip variant. Since only women can normally use magic, they are the dominant sex in this world.

* KidnappedByTheCall: Sanada Shirou may have wished for creation magic, but he certainly did not wish to be dragged off the deep-sea boat he was on and dropped right into the middle of a war-zone, no idea what's going on.

* RapeAsDrama: While Shirou never shows any long-term trauma from it, the rape scenes themselves, and the threat of rape, are all shown as deadly serious and sufficiently horrifying. In fact, the very first of these scenes has Shirou so disgusted and stressed out that he vomits and is immediately beaten for vomiting. The only reason the soldiers involved stopped is because a senior officer, brining in Christia, ordered them elsewhere. The officer herself was completely unsympathetic, but Princess Christia was suitably horrified on his behalf.

The main character Shirou is a 24-year-old salaryman working in the stereotypical Japanese Black Company. His bosses force him to come in on his holiday to go with them on a fishing expedition, and he's forced to buy his own gear, without recompense. Then a scene straight out of ''Literature/TheFishermanAndHisWife'', he catches a flounder who requests to be freed in exchange for granting a wish. After a bit of back and forth, Shirou wishes for the ability to create things. The flounder grants this ability and immediately afterwards, the sea becomes turbulent and he finds himself in an alien land, right in the middle of a war-zone, no idea what's going on. It isn't long before he's captured, sexually assaulted and then thrust off unto Princess Christia as a "last request" before the princess is to be executed in three days' time, facing the very real possibility of sexual slavery when Christia's breathed her last. The two have to work together to escape, ''and that's when the adventure really begins.''

! Associated Tropes:

* BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor: This all starts out because Sanada Shirou wished to be given creation magic, after being refused the two wishes of being made handsome, and when that was turned down, wishing that the world was changed so women would see him as handsome.
* CartwrightCurse: None of Shirou's romances ever last. Every lady he hooks up with winds up leaving him for one reason or another, even though he and she are both very fond of each other.
* CycleOfRevenge: Shirou gets doted on by a pirate captain, to the resentment of her crew, who just wanted to rape him and be done with it. They mutiny and she heads out for revenge. She gets it. The leader of the mutiny then goes after her for revenge, and rapes Shirou, ''then tries to cut off his penis with a rusty dagger'', just to stick it to the former captain.
* DeliberateValuesDissonance: The new world has cultural mores similar to Earth's Victorian era, but with the gender roles reversed. Naturally, this brings Shirou no end of trouble as he tries to adapt.
* GenderRestrictedAbility: The reason why the gender roles are reversed is that women can use magic while men can't. Sanada Shirou being able to use magic, even if it is hardly fit for combat, is a ground-breaking achievement.
* GratuitousRape: Because it's a gender-role reversed Victorian Era setting, males without mothers, sisters, or wives are very socially vulnerable. As such, many, many women see nothing wrong with outright trying to rape Shirou, just for laughs.
* KidnappedByTheCall: Sanada Shirou may have wished for creation magic, but he certainly did not wish to be dragged off the deep-sea boat he was on and dropped right into the middle of a war-zone, no idea what's going on.
* OurNudityIsDifferent: As listed below, women have no problem with Shirou seeing them nude but find him showing his legs irresistibly titivating, and there is even a scene where a female pirate captain wakes up to see him shaving ''his face'' and reacts as if she was caught doing something extremely perverted.
* ShoutOut: Sanada Shirou meeting the flounder that offered him a wish as a boon in return for being freed is a reference to ''Literature/TheFishermanAndHisWife''.
* ShownTheirWork: The author really did their research into how Victorian Era morals and mores go before reversing the gender roles. In the Victorian era, it was considered perfectly normal for men to bathe completely naked while being tended by a bath wench, without any desire for sexual shenanigans, but seeing a woman's bare legs means the woman was trying to entice them. It was considered bad luck for a woman to be on a ship unless she's part of the cargo, so when Shirou is found on an island alone, he can pass it off as being shipwrecked as a child and nobody would try to rescue him because of the superstition. During the Victorian Era, there was no women's suffrage movement. As such women were seen as property, and a woman without a father, husband, or brothers was very, very socially vulnerable. In the new world, Shirou is so socially vulnerable, he was nearly raped in the male's toilet ''by being threatened with a dagger to his throat.''
