Time is not on your side. As you set off for your quest, the fourteen fortress walls surrounding Zamarra is constantly being threatened to be conquered by Ostragoth the Grim's forces. To highlight the urgency of your quest, you begin your journey with a cursed bracelet on your wrist; it will remind you every time a fortress wall is conquered, and when all fourteen walls have fallen, you die as well, because with Zamarra taken you are as good as dead anyways...
