Additionally, the ORLY?! counter owls, started off as a singular image of an owl that popped up whenever the game tells you something you already know. Now almost every character has an owl associated with them.
* AudienceParticipation: Patreon Supporters can decide which playthrough will be up on Patreon early, regular viewers can simply vote to change what format the game will be displayed in (E.G. * ContinuityNod: In the first episode of Color Splash, it was said that it was both the first LP on the system, and probably the last because even in 2016 the system was dead. In every other Wii U LP (which are always virtual console games), this is referenced in the first episode.

** Whenever the older lets plays are mentioned, it's in a negative light. Especially the fact that they had barely any commentary, and were rather low quality, which is why they are getting redone.
* OtherMeAnnoysMe: In VideoGame/PaperMarioColorSplash in the purple chapter Skawo and Parallel Skawo switch depending on which [[AnotherDimension dimension]] Mario is in. While they initially get along well, Parallel Skawo insults Skawo near the end, and in the bonus episode, Parallel Skawo is annoyed that Skawo left all the bonus work to him, while Skawo went of the have a break
