** "[[Recap/BatmanTheAnimatedSeriesE14HeartOfIce Heart of Ice]]": Ferris Boyle, Victor Fries' jerk of a boss who interrupted his attempt at saving his wife because he was using company equipment without permission, turning him into Mr. Freeze.

* ''WesternAnimation/ThomasAndFriends'': Diesel 10, the de facto BigBad of the franchise, is well-liked by the fanbase for both [[EvilIsHammy his hammy antics]] and Neil Crone providing his voice in ''WesternAnimation/ThomasAndTheMagicRailroad''. Dennis from "[[Recap/ThomasAndFriendsS9E18ThomasDayOff Thomas' Day Off]]" is heavilly disliked for making Thomas waste his day doing his (Dennis') jobs for him, while Billy from "[[Recap/ThomasAndFriendsS11E13DontBeSillyBilly Don't Be Silly, Billy]]" is hated even more for constantly rejecting Thomas' reasonable advice and running out of coal and water as a result. Fittingly, Diesel 10 would go on to be heavily merchandised and make subsequent appearances in the series' specials, while Dennis and Billy [[ChuckCunninghamSyndrome were rarely, if ever seen again after their debut episodes]].

** [[TokenGoodTeammate Pink Diamond]] of the Diamond Authority sees more hatred and ire in the fandom than other members of her family. While the other Diamonds have all committed ([[OffScreenVillainy off-screen]]) acts of planetary genocide and the enforcement of a rigid caste system, Pink's actions are comparatively limited. Unfortunately, said limited acts have all personally affected the main cast. This despite the fact that [[spoiler:as the secret identity of Rose Quartz, who freed the Earth from their rule, ''she's actually the BigGood.'']]

* ''WesternAnimation/TotalDrama'': The third generation cast brings Scarlett, who at first appears to be a shy, polite, and soft-spoken young woman. It slowly revealed that her polite personality is merely a facade, and she is a BitchInSheepsClothing hiding her sinister and psychotic nature to fool her teammates. Eventually, she tried to blow the island and kill everybody on it in exchange for the prize money, yet still manages to be one of the most beloved antagonists in ''Total Drama'''s history because of her skills as a villain. In comparison, Amy is just a generic AlphaBitch who makes the life of her sister Samey a constant hell, is one of the most hated characters from the cast. She mainly did nothing but abuse her sister in the season, kicking her sister away as they were freefalling and being annoyed that she had a parachute, taking credit for all her sister's accomplishments, and finally turning her team aside Jasmine against Sammy.

* ''WesternAnimation/SouthPark'': Eric Cartman is a [[TheSociopath sociopathic]] EnfantTerrible who is often LaughablyEvil, making him very entertaining despite committing such heinous acts such as murdering two innocent people and feeding them to their offspring after processing their corpses through chili [[DisproportionateRetribution over $16.12]]. That being said, the most dislikable characters in the series are Stephen and Linda Stotch, Butters Stotch's AbusiveParents who often ground Butters over such trivial matters, ignore him when he is in serious danger, and even callously sell him to Creator/ParisHilton for $250 million on one occasion. While Cartman's misdeeds are usually known for being very over-the-top, many people in real-life have dealt with parents just as terrible as Stephen and Linda.

* ''WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic'': Major villains who are serious threats to Equestria (Queen Chrysalis, King Sombra, Lord Tirek, etc.) receive no end of love from fans. Meanwhile, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon pick on the Cutie Mark Crusaders for not having cutie marks yet. At one point, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon mock Scootaloo for the fact that she's a pegasus that can't fly, which is the in-universe equivalent of mocking a disabled person for their disability. As a result, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon became two of the most hated antagonists in the series. Though they do have a HeelFaceTurn in season 5 (and we see Diamond's FreudianExcuse), this does not change the minds of some fans, believing it's too little too late.
* Skeebo in ''WesternAnimation/PacManAndTheGhostlyAdventures'' tends to be viewed in this regard. Sure, Betrayus is the evil ruler of the Netherworld who in life plunged Pac-World into global war, Dr. Buttocks is an EvilGenius who isn't even above working behind Betrayus' back to further his own goals, and Apex is an alien who [[NearVillainVictory nearly won]] in a few attempts to invade Pac-World. Skeebo, however, constantly bullies Pac, is an UngratefulBastard whenever Pac saves his butt, and is prone to talking big only to embarrass himself immediately afterward. While the villains tended to have some charm and humor to balance out their nefariousness, Skeebo is just a two-dimensional bully with no charm or depth to him whatsoever.

* ''WesternAnimation/CloneHigh" has Abe Lincoln, who ignores Joan Of Arc's feelings for him until she chose JFK as her date during the prom and chose not to stand up to Gandhi just to please Cleo. Meanwhile JFK,Cleopatra, and Principal Scudsworth who are depicted as antagonists are loved by fans.

** In the infamous “A Pal For Gary”, [=SpongeBob=] is far more hated by fans than Puffy Fluffy is. In that episode, [=SpongeBob=] ignored Gary’s complaints about Puffy Fluffy, blamed him for Fluffy’s actions, ordered him to “put Fluffy down” when the latter was clearly the attacker, and scolded him even after he had saved his life.

* ''WesternAnimation/SpiderManTheAnimatedSeries'': One would be hard-pressed to find any villain in the series[[note]]the only one that comes close is Morbius who is hated for his story and character being seen as cheesy and {{Narm}}y rather than for being evil[[/note]] who is hated more than Mary-Jane's Aunt Anna. While the comic version of Anna was a ShipperOnDeck for Peter and MJ, [[AdaptationalJerkass the show's version is a cantankerous woman who never seems to have a kind word to say about Peter and even went as far as blaming him both times Mary-Jane went missing]]. That the second time unintentionally resulted in The Punisher going after Peter didn't help either. This is due in part to FourthWallMyopia - the audience knows that Peter is a good and honest man but from Anna's perspective, Peter is an irresponsible guy with a weird habit of running off or showing up late and seems to have a dark secret he isn't letting anyone in on. Another factor is that the writers didn't put as much effort into making Anna seem sympathetic or even entertaining like they did for J. Jonah Jameson, who is also a {{Jerkass}} and is even responsible for creating the Scorpion.

* ''WesternAnimation/MyLifeAsATeenageRobot'': Vexus is very well liked by fans of the show, for [[HartmanHips one reason]] or [[EvilIsSexy another]]. Instead, most of the fan's ire is saved for most of the people Jenny has to deal with at High School, such as [[SternTeacher Vice Principal Razinski]], [[FantasticRacism Mr. Mezmer]], [[RichBitch Don Prima and Pteresa]]. The only bullies that the fanbase don’t have a bone to pick with (even then, [[BaseBreakingCharacter they have their haters]]) are the Crust Cousins.

The truth is that both of them have done many nasty things, but Plankton gets the sympathetic NotEvilJustMisunderstood treatment from fans because he's usually a HarmlessVillain, while Mr. Krabs is considered a DesignatedHero. And compared to Plankton's cartoonish behavior, Krabs' actions are often emblematic of realistic societal problems such as abusing his workforce in various ways and getting away with it because his only employees have long since stopped caring or love the job so much that they'd work for free, but most infamously tormenting Plankton to the point he wants to commit suicide.

If you don't believe this, Preston and Priscilla at least have some fans, but nobody in the fandom finds Filbrick likeable and all unanimously hate him for being an [[AbusiveParents abusive father]] to Stan and Ford and left both old men with plenty of psychological scars, above never caring about them.

* ''WesternAnimation/TheFairlyOddParents'': Most of the show's villains are very over-the-top in their portrayal and too hilarious to hate. Thus, the most hated characters on the show by far are Timmy's [[ParentalNeglect extremely negligent]] and borderline-[[AbusiveParents abusive]] parents, who constantly leave him home alone with Vicky and are oblivious to her cruelty, and often give away Timmy's things and spend his college savings without his permission. Few children have to deal with murderious babysitters or delusional schoolteachers in life, but parents who abuse and neglect their children are very common.

Meanwhile, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon, two girls in Apple Bloom's class, pick on her and her friends for not having cutie marks yet, and fans wouldn't mind sending their filly-behinds to the glue factory. This applies to other characters like Gilda the griffin (who's biggest "crime" was making Fluttershy cry), Chancellor Neighsay (despite the villain pulling an EvilerThanThou showing his actions were genuinely well meaning but misguided and led to his redemption) and Sludge the Dragon (who pretended to be Spike's father in order to mooch off his privileges).

* ''WesternAnimation/MastersOfTheUniverseRevelation'' gives long-running villain Skeletor. While he's always had his fans with his PungeonMaster nature and HamAndCheese villainy, this show has the main hero being Teela, who spends the series as a massive {{Jerkass}} who [[UnintentionallyUnsympathetic anger comes off less like the coping mechanism it was intended to be and more just being bitchy]] and her FreudianExcuse didn't resonate with fans[[note]]Being upset that Adam didn't reveal the secret that he was He-Man doesn't work when the secret wasn't Adam's to give[[/note]]. As such, plenty of fans would've preferred Skeletor's victory to Teela's.
