** Spoken word for word in ''Film/FantasticBeastsAndWhereToFindThem'' by FluffyTamer Newt Scammander, when describing how his magical beasts have been accidentally loose on New York: “They’re currently in alien terrain surrounded by millions of the most vicious creatures on the planet, humans”. His outlook is proven correct as the real antagonist of the movie the human wizard Grindelwald, is far more brutal and terrible than any monster Newt has inside his suitcase. Not to mention the abusive DoesNotLikeMagic Mary Lou Barebone, who is just as vile as Grindelwald but is a completely human woman.

* This was entirely the point of ''Film/Godzilla1954''. Not only was the titular monster InUniverse awakened by the actions of mankind (a hydrogen bomb) but the whole movie is a allegory for the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. This trope is the very reason why [[spoiler: Dr. Serizawa sacrifices himself whilst using his deadly Oxygen Destroyer to kill Godzilla, the fear of mankind wielding the level of power his mind has created is simply too great.]]

* ''Franchise/PlanetOfTheApes'': In the first movie, the Apes' sacred scriptures include a scroll which reads "Beware the beast Man, for he is the devil's pawn. Alone among God's primates, he kills for sport, or lust, or greed. Yea, he will murder his brother to possess his brother's land. Let him not breed in great numbers, for he will make a desert of his home and yours. Shun him. Drive him back into his jungle lair, for he is the harbinger of death". And given that the ending of the movie reveals the Ape civilization emerged from the ruins left after humans destroyed their own civilization in a nuclear holocaust, it's hard to argue with them.

* ''Franchise/PlanetOfTheApes'': In Played with in the first movie, the Apes' original ''Franchise/PlanetOfTheApes''. The Ape elders believe this; their sacred scriptures include a scroll which reads "Beware the beast Man, for he is the devil's pawn. However, what we see of the Apes' society suggests that [[FullCircleRevolution they're actually just as bad as the humans used to be]], and it's only their technological limitations that keep them from causing the same damage.
