In his proposal, Chef mentions the Cleveland Indians changing their logo and nickname. In 2017, the Indians changed their logo because the old one was deemed racist.

* South Park making satirical cameos and jabs at Disney for a living has certainly become this in the recently released ''Film/ChipNDaleRescueRangers2022'' where they gave Randy Marsh a nonspeaking cameo during a spa scene, and an outright-plagiarized unmodified one at that since Creator/ComedyCentral and Creator/TreyParkerAndMattStone weren't listed in their reference credits nor did they made any effort to redesign nor rename him. * In "[[Recap/SouthParkS16E9RaisingTheBar Raising the Bar]]", [[Series/HereComesHoneyBooBoo "Mama June" Thompson]] admits how ashamed she is about her excessive weight after title titular bar is raised. Since the show aired, Mama June had lost over 150 pounds and barely looks like her old self.

* In "Raising the Bar", Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson has a heart attack and undergoes surgery to have her heart replaced with a pig's. In January 2022, a man underwent a successful transplant with a heart from a genetically-altered pig.

* One RunningGag in the "200[=/=]201" two-parter has Jesus give Buddha flak for snorting cocaine (while He's watching pornography, in the second instance), in a potshot at the DoubleStandard of which religious figures are and aren't okay to mock. Season 23's Christmas episode "[[Recap/SouthParkS23E10ChristmasSnow Christmas Snow]]" has Jesus Himself snort cocaine.

* Cartman tricking Heidi into eating KFC by convincing her it's a vegan alternative in the style of Beyond Meat becomes this after KFC announced they're making vegetarian chicken.

* ''Terrance and Philip'' was meant to be a self-deprecating caricature of ''South Park'' itself, satirizing the critical reviews declaring it nothing but bad animation and ToiletHumour. Like ''South Park'' had emphasis on being American, the parody needed its own emphasized nationality; [[WhatCouldHaveBeen originally Terrance and Philip were going to be British]], but they settled on Canadian. Then many of the [[CanadianSeries Canadian cartoons]] produced in the TurnOfTheMillennium and TheNewTens were just like Terrance and Philip: poor and simplistic animation, [[GettingCrapPastTheRadar raunchier than American kids' shows]], and full of fart jokes, so Terrance and Philip was basically a stereotype of Canadian cartoons before they even got that reputation.

** One of the atheist groups, the Unified Atheist League, wears hats that kind of look like condoms on their heads. In ''WesternAnimation/BatmanTheBraveAndTheBold'''s LighterAndSofter AnimatedAdaptation of ''ComicBook/EmperorJoker'', we kind of get the feeling that ComicBook/TheJoker's whoopee cushion crown [[UnfortunateCharacterDesign looks like]] [[GettingCrapPastTheRadar a condom]].

* "[[Recap/SouthParkS14E2TheTaleOfScrotieMcBoogerballs The Tale of Scrotie McBoogerballs]]" (where Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny write what's in essence an [[SoBadItsGood intentionally awful]] vulgarly erotic book after finding ''Literature/TheCatcherInTheRye'' boring and being angry that it's not the controversial book they thought it was, then pin the blame on Butters to avoid being disciplined) doesn't seem so absurd now thanks to the popularity of ''Literature/FiftyShadesOfGrey'' (and its sequels, ''Fifty Shades Darker'' and ''Fifty Shades Free'').

** The episode also feels more relevant than ever with the rise of alternative remedies online.

* In "[[Recap/SouthParkS18E3TheCissy The Cissy]]", Eric's "Erica" alter ego is portrayed to have more knowledge on gender identity and sexuality issues than most adults, to an extent that's pretty unrealistic for a fourth-grader. Stephie's character in "Assigned Male" is more or less exactly like this..... except A). She's actually trans and B). It's not PlayedForLaughs.

** The episode's satire included Mama June's daughter, Honey Boo Boo fighting Cartman in a spaghetti wrestling match booked by former First Lady Michelle Obama.

* Saddam Hussein became Canadian Prime Minister in "[[Recap/SouthParkS7E15ItsChristmasInCanada It's Christmas in Canada]]". In the ''WesternAnimation/FamilyGuy'' episode "Back to the Pilot", one of the things Stewie claims would happen without 9/11 is that Saddam Hussein could be president. * In the earlier seasons, Mr. Garrison would usually ask during town meetings to Mayor [=McDaniels=] to get rid of all the Mexicans. In Season 19, one of Garrison's presidential aims is to ''[[DeathBySex literally]]'' fuck every single illegal immigrant to death.

* Speaking of ''Undertale'', there is a character in the game called Undyne who looks like some sort of fish and is an implied lesbian, making the "Gay Fish" skit funnier.
