* In the Honest Trailer for Film/GuardiansOfTheGalaxy, the narrator says that this movie has ComicBook/Thanos in it and he does nothing. This becomes hilarious because [[spoiler:this version of Thanos that the narrator is mocking, ends up becoming the FinalBoss of Film/AvengersEndgame, by travelling to the future and he is arguably more threatening than his future self (given that this version does not have access to the infinity stones and shows just how much of a threat he is) and ultimately Tony Stark is forced to used the Infinity Stones and a BadassFingersnap of his own at the cost of his own life just to slow him down. This sounds more like Harsher In Hindsight. He was looking forward to the sequel, yet it ended up being a disappointment, similar to how he was looking forward to Suicide Squad and Jared Leto's performance and was completely disappointed by those as well. The entry sounds more like it belongs there rather than here.

* A lot of remarks about Film/Ghostbusters2016 across a couple of Honest Trailers before its relase were in defense of the movie, and complained about everybody's eagerness to hate the movie in spite of it not being out. When the Honest Trailer for the 2016 movie came out, they admitted that the film was "pretty bad" (even if not as much as everybody said it was gonna be), though they did ask viewers to not harass the cast just because they were in a mediocre movie (indirectly referring to the racist Twitter attacks on star Leslie Jones following the movie's release), and insisted that it wasn't worth getting that worked up over.

* While doing Film/PacificRim, the narrator is looking forward to the sequel. Fast forward to 2018 and the narrator felt that the sequel, Film/PacificRimUprising, was such let down that they combined it with Film/TombRaider2018 (another film seen as non-remarkable and by-the-numbers) in one Honest Trailer.

* The Honest Trailer for the 2018 Academy Awards ends with the narrator deliberately naming a bunch of superhero movies for random nonsense awards. Afterwards, the actual Academy decided to create the Outstanding Popular Movie award, which was seen as created to be given to superhero movies, and people were so revolted at the concept the Academy turned around. On the other hand, Film/BlackPanther did get nominated for Best Picture the following year, meaning it had a spot in the Oscars Honest Trailer.

* In the Film/Split Honest Trailer, after learning the movie is actually a StealthSequel to Film/Unbreakable, the narrator jokes that all of Creator/MNightShyamalan movies are part of a shared Cinematic Universe. Universal and Disney have announced they are making more movies set in the Unbreakable universe.
