From there, Leroy starts to care about the ''[='=]ohana'', and they actually grow concerned for him as the United Galactic Federation comes to retrieve him]]. Thus, the main story shifts from the ''[='=]ohana'' just telling campfire stories about Stitch to [[spoiler:also trying to prove to the Grand Councilwoman that Leroy has redeemed himself and should stay with them on Earth]].

** Jara –whose wrestling person, "Lady Jasmine", is an actual heel- turns on Blackflame after getting defeated by Kara.
** After being a thorn in Kara's side for years, Shyla Kor-Onn allies herself with her during "Last Waltz with Luthor".
** Parasite isn't feeling overly loyal after getting manipulated by Luthor, so he takes Superman up on his offer to get his normal body back in exchange for reforming.
* In ''Fanfic/SuperVillainPrevention101'', Harley Quinn starts the fic as a former villain who worked with the Joker.

* ''Fanfic/UnbreakableRedSilkenThread'': The first arc of the story could be summarized as this for Heather, showing her evolution as a person over the course of several years thanks to first her friendship, then later relationship with Cody.
* ''Fanfic/SonOfTheBlack'': Having been born and raised during wartime, Jatar was trained to be a warrior much like his brother. Before he was considered old enough to join them in their raids however, he secretly followed him and was horrified by how they butchered innocent people. This experience led to him running away, most of trollkind not knowing about him and Bular assuming he died.

After that fails, however, she finds that her new physique and powers [[CutLexLuthorACheck can be monetised]] if she's willing to go that far; once she has money in the bank and admirers all around, she mellows out a lot and decides that she can afford to make herself useful on occasion.
