* Even with the original's return, Laura is still able to use the "Wolverine" moniker, with Logan's support. Demonstrated in this exhange from ''House of X''.
-->'''Laura:''' Actually, I'm Wolverine.
-->'''Logan:''' You tell 'em, kiddo.

** Laura and Megan playing hooky from school after getting suspended (and stealing the principal's car!) adds CrowningMomentOfFunny as well, but then you realize that all of what they're doing is just the sort of things Laura was denied as a child. For one afternoon she [[IJustWantToBeNormal finally gets to experience what it is to be a normal teenage girl]]. The scene from the pet store where Laura is practically buried in a pile of puppies and kittens is ''especially'' adorable.

* Laura's reunion with the NYX kids during her 2010 one-shot. During a time when Laura is still struggling with her identity and her past she finds some comfort that Kiden and the others deeply care for her, and even tried to find her after she left them. Kiden even ''[[CrowningMomentOfAwesome stands up to Wolverine]]'' to protect her when she mistakenly thinks he's one of her old Johns.

More cleanup of stuff covered by other works pages.

* From her debut episode in the ''WesternAnimation/XMenEvolution''. When X-23's investigating the Xavier Institute, she finds a teddy bear (most likely Kitty's) and gives it a hug. It's not so much the hug, it's the fact that as she hugs it, she's wearing the first honest to goodness smile we've seen on her face since her appearance.
** When Xavier senses something's not right, he thinks it's Logan but finds X-23 crying instead. Instead of trying to read her thoughts he greets her kindly. True she took advantage of him taking his guard down, but at least she didn't try to kill him for it.
** Turns out despite rendering everyone at the institute unconscious, X-23 had no intention of harming them. She only wanted them out of her way when she went after Logan.
** The moment when X-23 breaks down, and Logan gives her what's probably the first hug she'd ever had in her entire life.
** By the time X-23 makes her second appearance in the episode "Target X", she immediately rushes to Logan's defense when he's being tortured by Gauntlet and Omega Red.
** By the end of the episode, after it appears she's killed herself along with as many Hydra agents as she could take with her in an explosion, [[spoiler: Logan picks up a scent and smiles. A moment later we see X-23 did in fact survive after all.]]

* Laura defying her off-book orders from Zander Rice to kill Martin Sutter and his family, when she chooses to spare his ([[spoiler: actually Rice's]]) son. After all the effort the Facility went through to break her, that one moment proves her humanity hasn't been completely destroyed. [[spoiler: In ''The Killing Dream'' this act becomes one of Laura's most important weapons for throwing off the demon attempting to recruit her into his service.]]
* Doubling a bit with CrowningMomentOfFunny: When Laura reunites with her classmates in ''ComicBook/AvengersAcademy'' after Logan drops the kids off for safekeeping, she approaches Sooraya aka Dust and mentions she "smells healthy." Sooraya immediately [[NoSocialSkills reminds her it's impolite]] [[InnocentlyInsensitive to tell people about their smell]]. Laura innocently counters that because Sooraya follows ''hijab'', scent is her only way to "see" her in public. Sooraya then expresses just how much she's missed her.

** Again in issue #1 of ''Death of Wolverine: Logan's Legacy'', when Daken displays a bit of brotherly concern after Laura zaps herself on the barrier containing them in their cell. Daken is (understandably, given their last meeting) hostile towards Creed and indifferent towards both Mystique and Deathstrike, but his interactions with Laura are actually rather warm and laid back.
** And in #7, when [[spoiler: Laura goes back for Daken when he's attacked by Siphon, even though the rest of the group has fled Sharp's base]].
* In ''ComicBook/{{NYX}}'', who's the first person to calm and comfort Tatiana after her very public manifestation nearly gets her lynched by a mob? [[BrokenBird Laura]].
** Furthermore, Laura's reunion with the NYX kids during her 2010 one-shot.
* The CoolDownHug [[ComicBook/AllNewXMen Teen!Scott]] gives her to calm and comfort her when Laura is in the midst of a FreakOut after [[ComicBook/AvengersArena Murderworld]] and the torture she experienced at the hands of the Purifiers after that, simply because he believed she needed it. Then, in the following issue, Laura ''initiates'' one with him after Stryker, Jr. reveals [[spoiler: Arcade released the Murderworld footage (meaning the ''entire world'' has seen her in a Trigger Scent-induced rage, something Laura is understandably sensitive about)]], which threatens to send her right back into a HeroicBSOD.
** And then Laura returns the hug aboard the ComicBook/GuardiansOfTheGalaxy's ship, when Scott is overwhelmed both by the capture of Jean Grey by the Shi'ar, and [[spoiler: the revelation that his father, is alive[[note]]not only does Teen Scott come from a time ''before'' he learned that his father survived the plane crash which he believed killed his parents, at this point the ''entire galaxy'' believed Corsair was dead[[/note]]]].
* Laura and Warren's date in ''All-New X-Men'' #30. It starts with a wild night at a club (which culminates in a brawl against some thugs who take a disliking to Warren and his wings), but leads to them having a long heart-to-heart talk and Laura thanking him for taking her away from the insanity which normally surrounds her, even remarking that Laura is prettier than ''Jean Grey'' when Laura starts expressing her self-doubts about why he likes her. It's a rare moment of Laura getting to forget about everything that's been done to her, and just being a normal girl.
* Laura's coming to terms with Wolverine's death, and her admission to Kitty that though she does feel sad at the loss, she also feels proud to have known him. Particularly the small smile she gives, and the reveal [[spoiler: that she has dyed her forelocks blue and gold in Logan's memory, referencing his most iconic costume]].
* When Daken [[spoiler: has his [[AnArmAndALeg arm]] and [[EyeScream one of his eyes]] taken by Sinister after Siphon stripped away his healing factor, in issue 2 of ''Wolverines'' Laura sits vigil by his bedside, worrying over his condition.]]
--> '''Laura''': Logan is dead. You're the only family...sort-of-family...I have left. I'm here if you need me, no matter where this takes us.
* In issues 3-4 of ''Wolverines'' the team rescues Fantomelle from Siphon. For most of them it's only because they need her to break into Sinister's base and recover Logan's remains. Laura is the ''only one of the group'' who is saving 'Melle just to save her and for no other reason. Fantomelle remembers this, and after completing her deal for Wolverine's belongings with Comicbook/{{Deadpool}}, she holds on to one of stolen costumes and personally delivers it to Laura despite the risk of being caught in payment of that debt.
* Although it's been a bit of a BaseBreaker since it was introduced in ''All-New'' #30, the final RelationshipUpgrade between Laura and Warren was nonetheless quite sweet, as Warren's refusal to just accept the hand his older self was dealt and decision to embrace the Vortex to forge his own path strikes a chord with Laura's own struggles to find her own way.

Moving tropes to All-New Wolverine page as appropriate.

* Laura has a history of HatesBeingTouched (very much TruthInTelevision for abuse victims as she was), and being uncomfortable with public displays of affection. It's quite significant taht by ''All-New Wolverine'' she's grown comfortable enough that when Warren wants to give her a hug after she's dumped across the pavement by a crashing Predator drone she was riding, she declines not because of her discomfort, but simply because she's severely injured and still healing. So Warren resorts to giving her a pat on the head instead. Laura is bemused by it, and they both acknowledge it's a rather awkward moment. But then...
-->'''Laura''': I didn't say stop.
* After being shot in the head by a sniper, Laura has a bit of a flashback while her brain pieces itself back together. She recalls a conversation she had with Logan while she was on X-Force, when she was upset with herself for not killing a drug runner who later almost blew her up with a bazooka. Logan remarks on the Facility's failure to turn her into an unfeeling killing machine, and the fact that she's able to fight her instincts makes her even ''stronger'' than he is. It's particularly touching when one recalls the way he blew up on her over Rahne's capture by the Purifiers, and how badly his words then hurt her.
-->'''Logan''': You're the best there is at what you do. But that doesn't mean you have to do it.
** The scene receives a callback in issue 6. After Gabby admits she wanted to kill Chandler but held back, Laura expresses her own pride, while offering her encouragement and understanding over Gabby's fears of having to make her own decisions now.
--->'''Laura''': You're the worst there is at what they wanted you to do. And that's pretty impressive.
* The scene in Laura's Bronx apartment. Gabby [[DeadpanSnarker quipping]] about the contents of her fridge was positively adorable, but lost in the middle of it was the fact Laura called Logan ''dad''. While other characters have remarked that he's the closest Laura has to a father, and Logan himself legally adopted her, it's the first time that Laura ''herself'' has referred to him this way.
** Just her ''having'' an apartment is its own bit of heartwarming. After all she's been through to have that little slice of a normal life.
* Laura goes to Comicbook/DoctorStrange for help trying to cure the Sisters. After using the Eye of Agamotto on the girls and seeing all of the evil they did because of Alchemax, he expresses his doubts over whether they're deserving of Laura's efforts on their behalf. Laura then tells him to use it on her as well, and he's not only astonished by all of the pain Laura has suffered, but that unlike Logan she is in control of her rage. Laura then goes on to tell him that she ''doesn't'' really know what she's doing, but that she's trying and do it as best she can. Strange, who throughout the conversation refers to her as Logan's ''daughter'' and not his ''clone'', tells her that he would be proud of her, and assures her she was the right person to take up the Wolverine name.
--> '''Laura''': All I know is, while I'm wearing this, he isn't gone. And neither am I. I'm Laura Kinney. I'm X-23. ''And'' I'm Wolverine.
* Gabby going absolutely ga-ga over Jonathan, the [[ItMakesSenseInContext wolverine]] that Squirrel Girl brought over. Reacting like any little girl would to finding out they have a new pet.
* ''ComicBook/SquirrelGirl'' and Laura share a selfie during their team up. Complete with Laura sporting a goofy smile while in her cowl.
* After SquirrelGirl's speech, Laura realizes that, no matter how disruptive her life as a super hero may be, it's still better for Gabby to live with her, because she's family.
